Xbox Wireless Controller – Blue

After reading some of the other reviews I was unsure about my purchase. But I am glad I bought it lovely controller. Originally bought as a second controller for when friends come round but liked it so much that I use it all the time and have designated the old controller for when folk come over. Lovely colour. The only thing I would mention is that the controller does not come with a rechargeable battery pack. This wasn't a big deal for me and I just use normal AA rechargeable batteries. It came with normal AA batteries which seemed to last a long time before they died.

Controller seems a lot of money for what it is but I'm told the grip texture makes all the difference when in a game. So far it has had a lot of careful use and has been great, no problems or failures. The colour is bright and easy to spot down the side / under the sofa / behind cushion etc!

Bought this Xbox controller but was initially disappointed as the headphones didn’t work when plugged in to it. We contacted the vendor who immediately gave return details of how to return it free of charge. They included details of how all their controllers are tested on buttons and joysticks, and how this one had been tested on the morning before posting out. Nevertheless, they were apologetic that we weren’t happy with it and happy for it to be returned. We received a new controller just 2 days after posting the original one back and this one is perfect. Knowing the tests they perform on the products and how quickly they dealt with the return, I would not hesitate to order from them again in future.

I probably didn’t read the blurb closely enough but I expected this to have a rechargeable battery like my PS4 controller does. Certainly with this model that is not the case and it does require batteries, though I think an after market pack is available. That aside, this is a great controller I use it with my PC and am very happy. The controller is nice and solid, built to last, and has a good texture on the grips, it feels comfortable in the hand. The top shoulder buttons seem a little high to use comfortably, above where my forefinger would naturally fall, I guess they have prioritised the nice trigger over this. All in all very good and a great game pad for the PC.

The new Box Controller does what it is supposed to do, it works well, although I thought it was an un-necessary expense, as the only reason that it was because my grandson wanted a new pair of headphones with attached microphone (to replace the one’s he had, that became faulty) that were of better quality that the ones supplied with the X-Box, but none of these fitted the original controller, which still works perfectly well, but is now all but redundant.

Great looking controler felt good but after 5 to 6 months the lb button broke never dropped it or smashed it just broke

I needed a new control pad for the Xbox as the old one was starting to malfunction. So rather then buying a third party one again (which I’ve had many bad experiences with!) I chose to buy an official pad in blue this time around. It looks good and feels great especially after using a well-worn out pad for some time. The grips on the thumb pads are good and the buttons inputs seem fine. Only downside really is it does seem a little pricey for a control pad.

I bought this controller because my last controller rb button wasnt responding at all unless I was aggressive with it , I then buy this controller after heavily debating to get this more expensive one, or the cheaper wired 1 for 20 pounds. I am absolutely fuming, had no problems with the controller for about 2 weeks , I then realised the rb button again was not responding, absolutely gutted , why bother, get the cheaper 1 you can get 2x for the price of this one. As soon as I try to return it I was 2 days out of the return date , waste of money, still have a broken rb button on a BRAND NEW CONTROLLER , coincidence? Idk it worked fine for 2 weeks then rb button broken, only after 2 WEEKS! My last controller lasted no problems 8 years nearly , THIS ONE CANT LAST 2 WEEKS . So gutted , dont buy for your kids unless you want them crying within a month , what a waste. Oh yeah, did I mention? Fuming with this........

Tras semanas leyendo reviews en paginas de hardware sobre mandos para pc me decante por este por todo lo que ofrecía y es que el mando de Microsoft brilla en todo los sentidos. En cuanto abres esa brillante y preciosa caja con el dibujo del mando sabes que estas delante de algo que rebosa calidad por todos sus lados y ya cuando los coges por primera vez y notas el peso te da sensación de robustez y el tacto rugoso por detrás para que tus largas sesiones de juego no se vean afectadas por el sudor de las manos, el tacto de los botones es perfecto dando sensación de profundidad, los joysticks son muy firmes y precisos a la hora de moverlos, el logo de Xbox actua de boton de conexión con el dispositivo bluetooh que lo queramos conectar ya que podemos conectarlo tanto a un smartphone para jugar como el pc por medio o bien de un doodle o un bluetooh integrado en el pc. La conexión es sencilla y rapida con Windows 10 que es la que esta aconsejada para este mando ya que metiendonos en la configuración de Windows es unos pocos clicks tendremos nuestro mando dispuesto a echar horas sin parar de jugar , no he notado ningun tipo de lag al jugar es rapido, preciso y muy comodo al tacto da gusto tenerlo entre tus manos, probado con juegos de carreras y shooters va perfectamente. La duración de las pilas es bastante larga incluso contando con la vibración que te ofrece el mando, si eres de los que no quiere usar pilas puedes comprar las baterias para el mando que se venden aparte pero en mi caso no la hecho en falta por su larga duración, también disponemos de una conexión jack para conectar los auriculares pero si queremos tenerlos de modo inalambrico necesitaremos el adaptador bluetooh especifico de Xbox si no lo tendremos que tener conectado con un cable mico usb al equipo.Si te resulto util dame un voto

El color está impresionante. Los LB y RB traen presión suave y silenciosa como el control Elite. Sin duda una excelente compra.

Und das tue ich, das herrliche Blau war schließlich der Grund für die Kaufentscheidung. Ich hab schon länger mit dem Gedanken gespielt meinen alten verkabelten 360 Controller in die Reserve zu schicken und auf ein Bluetooth Modell der xbox One Controller umzusteigen. Da mein gesamtes Setup vom Netzteil bis zur Maus in Schwarz-Blau gehalten ist, war die Wahl der Farbe natürlich keine schwierige. Die Vorderseite hat eine tolle Farbe, ist auf der Rückseite etwas dunkler gehalten, aber sehr passend. Schönes Detail: Die Buchstaben der A,B,X,Y Tasten stechen als kleine Inlays innerhalb der durchsichtigen Tastenummantelung hervor. Optik: 5/5 "Vong Handling her" ist das gute Stück eine deutliche Weiterentwicklung zu den alten 360ern. Insb. die Sticks lassen sich viel geschmeidiger lenken und positionieren (bspw. für Freistöße in FIFA) und geben ein gutes Feedback beim Drücken. Das trifft auch auf die anderen Tasten zu, ist mir hier aber am stärksten aufgefallen. Auch ergonomisch liegt der Controller komfortabel in den Händen. Testweise habe ich nochmal den alten 360er in die Hand genommen und sofort die neue One Version vermisst. ;) Handling: (5/5) Nun ist der Controller ja bekanntermaßen wireless und erfreulicherweise auch für Bluetooth ausgelegt worden. Ich hab auch lediglich die Bluetooth Funktionalität getestet. Einmal eingerichtet funktioniert das Ganze wunderbar. Die Verbindung ist stabil und ermöglicht im von mir getesteten Bereich am PC-Tisch selbst das gewisse etwas an Freiheit. Nicht gerade reibungslos verlief dagegen das erste Pairing. Hier hat sich insb. das OS Win 10 etwas doof angestellt, denke ich, da aber beide Komponenten von Microsoft sind, hab eine locker flockige Erstverbindung erwartet. Konnektivität 4/5 Insgesamt bestätigt sich meine Meinung über die xbox Controller: Sie sind nach wie vor die - für mich persönlich - besten, um auch am PC zu zocken. Die Verarbeitung ist top, das Handling einzigartig und die Optik sticht bei dem Modell nochmal super hervor. In Sachen Konnektivität hält das Bluetooth was es verspricht, lediglich die Ersteinrichtung, sprich das Pairing, lief etwas holprig, abgesehen davon ist die Verbindung aber stabil und zuverlässig, daher findet der obige Abzug in der Endwertung keine Berücksichtigung. Insgesamt also: 5/5 Sternen.

Ich beziehe mich hier auf die blaue Variante des Controllers. Außer der Farbe unterscheidet sich der blaue Controller natürlich nicht vom serienmäßigen Controller daher nur kurz zum technischen und haptischen. Der Controller verbindet sich einwandfrei mit meiner Xbox One S und meinem Computer (mit Hilfe eines Bluetooth Adapters oder per Micro-USB Kabel) und man kann sogar mehrere Controller über den selben Bluetooth Adapter am PC anschließen. Die Handhabung ist gewohnt gut, wobei die Griffe ein wenig schlanker sind als beim Xbox 360 Controller, was eine gewisse Umgewöhnung bedeutet hat. Ich könnte allerdings nicht sagen, welcher der beiden Controller mir (nur auf die Griffe) bezogen besser gefällt. Sehr gut gefallen mir die unteren Schultertasten, sie bieten bis zum Anschlag einen gleichmäßigen Widerstand und haben eine große Druckfläche. Darüberhinaus sticht das Steuerkreuz positiv heraus, da dies im Gegensatz zur letzten Konsolengeneration einen klaren Druckpunkt hat und man nicht mehr versehentlich die falsche Richtungstaste betätigt. Besonders gut ist dies bei Spielen in denen man über das Steuerkreuz Gegenstände etc. benutzt. Die Farbe des Controllers ist sehr kräftig und die Kombination aus dunklem und hellem Blau macht echt was her. In der Realität und bei normaler Zimmerbeleuchtung wirkt die Farbe einiges kräftiger und ein wenig dunkler als es auf den offiziellen Produktfotos aussieht.
