Needed a cane for my costume was sturdy and long and helped me win best dressed

The cane was amazing in the morning but it did not last the day without the top falling off

I bought this as it was a suggested purchase to go along with another Amazon item being a Jack the Ripper Halloween costume. Given the price paid I wasn't expecting much and of course knew it was a novelty plastic prop / costume cane and it is but it is surprisingly robust not that I would recommend actually using it as a walking aid. It looks pretty good and certainly helped to complete my Halloween costume plus I am a sucker for canes / walking sticks for some reason. Given that it is plastic it seems to be well made and will easily stand up to occasional use as a prop so I would say it is well worth the money. Some of the other reviewers were upset that it was made from plastic but considering it costs just over a fiver they are clearly stupid if they were actually expecting a cane made from wood and metal for that price so please don't be put off by other people's ridiculous reviews assuming you are buying it to actually use as a prop.

Absolutely dreadful, binned it

My children use it for the world book day event and it's perfect and can last for any other relevant event. It's a last minute buy and it's the specific the item that we need. I thought it might not make it for delivery on time but I must praise the seller for the efficient, prompt delivery and well packaging to protect the item.

The cane provided me with an enormous amount of fun as a Halloween prop. I can't say if this was circumstantial or some inherent quality of the cane itself, but barring the remote possibility of magical plastic I'm guessing it's the former. The cane looks good and you have to look closely to see that it's made from low-quality plastic. That being said it is still made from low-quality plastic. The cane itself seems durable enough but the "silver" top came loose very fast, leaving a wobbly cane struggling to stay in one piece. Good for a fun night of fancy dress. Most definitely not to be recommended to be used as an actual cane. I always love the irrelevance of Amazon's "educational value" rating in cases like this. What possible educational value could a plastic pimp cane hold? I suppose you could try cooking it to figure out the melting-point of low-quality plastic. I recommend against it though.

OK for plastic

C'est une canne en plastique, certes. Donc elle est très légère. Mais pour le prix, elle fait le job du déguisement^^. Cependant, contrairement à la photo, la canne arrive en 3 morceaux qu'il faut insérer pour obtenir une canne de 80 cm, ça reste un "jouet" qui fait bien l'illusion d'une canne pour un déguisement. Et pour le prix, elle est très bien!
