WELDTITE Citrus Degreaser Refill, Powerful Cleaning & Degreasing Formula for Bike Chains & Components, 1 Litre

I bought this product a while ago for my next chain service. I have to say, yes. Really good stuff. Used it on my C10 campagnolo chain and it's done a good job. I reckon if I had left it overnight it would have got all the grime off. Nothing major, just a few spots on the inner links. But for a first go and only left if for half an hour I'm impressed with how clean it came out. I used an old small jam jar and filled the level about half way and gave the chain a good shake every five mins. Then rinsed it through with cold water, dried it a cloth and left it to dry completely before refitting to the bike. So yeah I would recommend it.

I bought this 5 years ago and last year it finally ran out. I caulked at the new price so instead purchased a cheaper similar product from a well known British bicycle chain. Wish I hadn’t. The real deal is better. My chain and chained/cassette looks clean after use. It’s a bit fiddly using the part tools cleaning gun but it does a bloody good job. It’s time to Purchase more.

Good for cleaning cycle drive components used with brushes old rags and a bit of mutton cloth. Ready then for a bit of very light lubing.

Works well, have used before, it's tried and tested. Use both in a spray bottle and in a brush chain cleaner device. Cheaper than similar stuff but works just as well and it's a trusted name. Oh and it smells nice too!

Purchased to clean the chain on my bike and because it's cheaper than the Muc Off equivalent. Use it with my Park Tool chain cleaner and it does the job just fine. It isn't as good as the Muc Off stuff in my opinion, but its still really good for what it is and leaves my drivetrain nice and clean. I might need to use a little more degreaser with each clean, but judging by the cost, that's fine with me. Will definitely buy again.

Needs quite a lot of elbow grease.

Pretty good but not great. I feel you need to clean the chain twice if you use this product. It lifts off most of the dirt but doesn't separate it that well. But then again it is cheaper than muc-off. So you get what you pair for

This does a good job of getting the worst of the grime off my chain when used in conjunction with my park chain bath. A little goes a long way, so I tend to add about 25% water. Smells great as well!

Over the years I tried degreasers from different brands and so far only the citrus degreaser worked for me. Any other brands leave residue after cleaning a new chain. Additionally some other degreaser I tested had very strong odor that made me feel sick. Citrus degreaser has a nice smell so you can use it indoors. I cannot recommend this product enough.
