Does exactly what it's supposed to
I was a tad skeptical due to some of the prominent negative reviews, but they either got something completely different than the crimpers I received or they simply do not know how to use them (or how to google it). These do exactly what they are intended to do and without any fuss. I have some spontaneous RPi projects that came up, and these worked first crimp and beyond.

Essential Accessory if 3D Printing is Your Hobby
This tool is used to crimp metal terminations onto the end of bare wires. These fittings are then inserted into JST multi (2, 3, 4, 6, etc.) wire connectors, commonly used in 3D Printers. The reason for assembling your own connectors is for repairs, replacements, or modifications. I had a need to change the pinout of a cable, as I upgraded to a stronger motor. It worked well.

Used it for Molex micro-fit
Works fine, not as clean and precise as the Molex crimper, but loads less expensive. Good solid crimps, but get a few extra terminals to practice on before doing the real connector.

Worked well for motorcycle lighting system bullet connectors.
This crimp tool has a bit of a learning curve, but if your wire and connectors are correct, this is handy when only doing a dozen crimps on a light system for motorcycle dirt bike. I would get something more industrial if using frequently for work. I crimped about a dozen male and female Molex style .093 connectors.

The right tool.
I tried several other tools to crimp wires to pins and it was a disaster until I bought the right tool. There is a saying โ the right tool for the right application โ is so true. I recommend this tool, it is reasonably priced and resolves your crimping headaches.

Works well once you get the hang of it
This tool works, but it takes a bit of practice to get consistently good crimps. Getting the insulation position and wire strip length right makes a big difference. Once I figured that out, it worked well. Good option if you are willing to spend a little time dialing in your technique.
