Does this leave a greasy film on skin or does it sink in like a moisturizer? I want to use it on my hands as i have painfully dry patches. Thanks

It does leave it a bit greesy but don't last long

what is the use by date on this product?

Hello Stephanie D.,I started to use the cream on 6th November 2013, when I had my baby, and i still use and have a lot of the same tube, despite putting it every day. In the meanwhile i also tried the one from Medela and, even though making the same effect, the consistency is different, i prefer much more the Lasinoh consistency because it is easier to spread. Hope I helped you!

Would you need this cream even if you use nipple shields?

Nipple shields are often a temporary measure so I'd say the cream would be useful when ready to breastfeed without the shield. Also, if regularly expressing, this can cause discomfort so it may be a good idea to have the cream in reserve in case of any discomfort.
