It does a superb job of substituting for a finger tip. I do use is on both an iPad Pro and a older iPad. It offers precise selectivity and great visibility for typing or for sketching, for example. I use it daily. Even if you do have an Apple Pencil, I think you would find this a valuable tool. **Q: Does anyone know if this offers palm rejection?** A: No. Adonit only offers palm rejection on its most expensive Pixel model. **Q: Will this stylus fit into an iPad case with an Apple Pencil slot?** A: I would think so, since this stylus is thin. I have had both the apple pencil and this stylus.
