Great for making slime - it really does work!!!
This is great for making slime. You mix some PVA glue with a small amount of cold water and whatever colour you want, separately you mix 6 teaspoons of the laundry starch with half a cup of warm water and stir well to dissolve. You then add 4 to 6 teaspoons of the starch mixture to the glue mixture. Within seconds of mixing it, you will have fantastic slime. The relief, having tried so many other formulas, is enormous. Our kitchen has been a horrible mess for week, and nothing else worked til this! If you want puffy slime, you add a couple of squirts of shaving foam to the glue before you add the starch.

try it and see
Liked the ease of making up the starch was not any different from the old powdered starch that I had used many years ago. Was not too sure how large the spoonfull should be, a table spoon or a tea spoon. Clothes turned out just right, though more luck than judgment. I would use this starch again as I think clothes, bedding etc stay cleaner than normal spray starch. Thankyou

Doesn’t work for slime, ok for washing
Didn’t notice a huge amount of difference to the washing. Daughter used it for the slime making but didn’t work

kershaws laundry starch
Delighted to have found an old fashioned starch product that really does the trick of seriously starching cottons. Yes, it is a lot of work to use but I was able to give a fantastic finish with the correct appearance to all our Victorian pinafores for our theatrical production and not have to deal with all the residue on the iron plate that one often gets with the horrible spray starch. As a person who tries to avoid using sprays of any type (cancer sufferer)it was healthier to treat the number of aprons and petticoats I needed to present with this natural starch product. My only disappointment is the price, as nearly all drama groups have to work on a shoestring. Maybe if more people buy this great product, production costs might lessen and make it cheaper?

Lovely old fashioned starch powder
I had been looking for starch powder to use for our altar linen at my church. Boots used to do it but in recent years they have stopped its production. I tried this not knowing whether it would be good for purpose. When I got it out to use looked at the instructions and I like other purchasers thought scoop, what scoop? I thought back to when I was using my old starch and used 3 tablespoons of powder. I was absolutely delighted with the results, it did feel a little bit stiffer than it needed to be so perhaps next time I will try 2 tablespoons instead and see if this works. I am thrilled that I have found this and will continue to use it, thank you

Great for Making Home Made Starch Spray
Very impressed with this product. I made it up to use in a spray bottle, and needed to dilute the mixture slightly so it would spray (1 to 20 seems a good ratio), and after adding a dash of alcohol to the mix, it works perfectly as a spray on starch treatment. I use this mix when I am doing patchwork.

Ideal for making 'slime'. It definately works!!!!!
I ordered this for my granddaughter to use. She wanted to make 'slime' and the recipe is just starch and pva glue. It was a fantastic success and after months of trying different recipes with other ingredients she was so happy to finally have a good result. The recipe is available on line and since only a small amount of starch is used the bag will last a long time. I would imagine if I needed to starch my napkins it would do a good job too!!!!!
