Although ultimately it’s all up to personal preference **Q: Are these and other similar markers what modelers advise you use to paint over once you "remove" a nub and it leaves a mark/discoloration?** A: If you primer everything then all the surfaces are going to be sanded and the mark/discoloration from the nub will be a moot issue. If you don't use primer and just remove the parts from the trees then yeah you can use these markers to cover up the area where the nub was attached to the part. **Q: How good is the coverage of the Paint? Since I am trying to paint the uncolored (black) pieces from the Valvrave I Full Impact model kit.** A: The paint covers well. It all depends on the color your painting on. White may look bad over the black. Besides that the red might have a hard time on the black plastic as well. The yellow looks great on darker plastic. The other black and blue should go good on anything. **Q: Do these dry or is top coat required?** A: They dry to the touch in about an hour or two, and cure completely over 24-48 hours (depending on temperature/humidity conditions in your area).They do not require top coat, however top coat does improve and protect the final finish.
