Edward Tools Paddle Mixer 27” for 1/2” power drill is the ideal tool for mixing concrete, drywall compound, mud, stucco, paint and more. Simply slip the hex shaft into your 1/2" drill and quickly mix. The zinc plated steel finish makes for quicker cleaning and is rust resistant. This mixer paddle drill bit has a large 8 1/2” paddle that makes for more consistent and quicker mixing.

Review: Good thinset mixing tool with 1/2 inch chuck drill - This is an excellent quality tool for mixing thinset. Has a hex shaft of sturdy construction. Tool displays solid substantial welds and heavy gauge steel with a quality plating job. Tool runs true at speed and is well sized for use in a typical 5 Gal. plastic pickle bucket. Tool length puts an average man at a comfortable standing height when mixing with bucket on the ground. An ideal match for your typical 1/2" chuck 120vac powered 500-600ish RPM handheld drill from HF, this tool and that drill easily and quickly mixes a 50lb bag of thinset in the aforementioned 5 gallon bucket. It easily mixes a 50lb. batch in the 5/10/5 mixing window usually recommended by thinset manufacturers. Tool shape is formed so that it does not tear up the bucket either...a big plus IMO. Be smart and clean it off after each use. This will be a keeper tool, not one you use and toss.

Cut off about six inches of the shaft just as I had with the other to get the drill lower when mixing concrete in a five gallon bucket. Will work perfect as my previous on had for years. Used on thin set, mortar, concrete , paint. Need about a 450 rpm drill or less. AAA+++

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not for heavy thick mixes

I mixed mortar with this, using the water first and adding mix until soupy thick. The other way of adding water to the mix failed. The big DeWalt drill froze and would not turn it. Or the tool wedged in mix, and the drill twisted out of my hands, even with the added handle to the drill. The tool itself did not bend. The shape of the paddles was very effective at mixing. Nice design, and good construction. I did a thorough job of cleanup and drying. No rust. If you are doing small batches (5 bags or less), a drill will get you there. If large batches rent a mixer. It is not the quality of this tool that is at issue.
