AMFRNE 2 Pin Hyper Flash Flasher, Fix Turn Signal & Hazard Warn 12V LED Relay with Ground Wire, No Load (Works Without Resistors)

Easy to install and works as expected. Fixed the LED hyper flash problem and got everything working normally again.

I had to find a flasher relay for my 71 Olds Cutlass LED conversion project. I tried a few different ones claiming to work with low-load conditions. They were all no good producing different problems. Even the "adjustable" ones didn't work. This one works perfectly AFTER I changed the polarity. Make sure you connect the ground. These "click" just like oem units. I bought two because my car has two (the hazard lights take their own relay). These Are cheap though, we'll see how long they last. The car is a "show car" so it doesn't get out much.

This item is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 1991 Ford Mustang and converted all the lights to LEDs. I knew about the hyper flash problem due to the low power draw of LEDs and purchased replacement flashers for both the hazard and turn signal from another retailer. Everything worked fine except that I’m very used to hearing an audible click with activation of turn signal or hazards and so the silence was deafening. Mostly, I didn’t want to look like an idiot driving down the road with the flashers is going off! I actually tried to hotwire in a relay, but the way the circuit is set up the relay was constantly being triggered, even when the flashers and turn signals were off. But from that I learned that a ground wire must be necessary to make this change and saw this unit with the extra wire and hoped it would work. It works perfectly and makes appropriate noise. FYI, for the fox body Mustangs you need two of these one for the hazards which is in the fuse box area, and the other on the other side of the console for the turn signals - the turn signal one does have reverse polarity so you’ll need to account for that but otherwise these flashers work for both. It works well, but is cheaply made. Be careful not to break it. It got rid of my hyper flash.

I installed this just as it was supposed to be. But it simply did not perform. Pulled it back out and installed another unit I had purchased on another site and I have no issues. This thing screamed low quality right out of the box. I would not recommend. I sent it back for a refund.

I tried several different hyper flash fix flasher units and none of them did the trick except this one! Used it on my 64 Chevy C10 which I converted to all LED bulbs. I did have to reverse the direction of the wires which involved, cutting off the original L connector and crimping spade female terminals on the wires so I could reverse which pin each wire went to on the flasher. After doing such, this worked perfectly.

Not sure what happened but it stopped working. And it did not do what I was hoping that it would put a load onto the turn signal system so I could use LEDs in an older vehicle. So I misunderstood what they mean for the use of this. So it did not work if you're trying to put a load on your turn signals or parking lights to use an LED and older vehicles going to have to put the resistor in line if you're going to use LEDs so my back to the old standard incandescent bulb. Little bummed

Cured my problem when upgrading to led bulbs on my 1961 Ford. Easy to install and now all turn signals work. Before this only 2 lights would work at a time.
