HIMG Bathtub & Shower Pan Repair Kit, Compatible with V&B Alpin White

The process of application was easy, setting the repair up was hard due to the large damage. I bought two kits, I should have bought 4 kits. The two lights helped a lot to cure the large repair. The Kohler color match is good and shiny. I used shipping tape and made sure to press any bubbles out to the surface. The damage was very bad but doable in my mind, As per the picture the damage extends to 6" wide exposing the cast iron on the lip. I dropped a large format porcelain tile corner on my cast iron pan from 6 feet up. I thank my steel toed boots for reducing the damage to my body; not so much for my ego and wallet. This isn't a fun scenario. I spent at least 30 hours of research and comparison between repair technologies. I drove myself nuts to be honest. I figured, It's a splash zone and won't be submerged. This repair material was best for my situation and expectancy of at least 5 years before doing it pro level. I'll be impressed if the repair lasts 10 years.

We had a deeper scratch that was visible in our recently renovated bathroom. I was pretty disappointed. With a toddler, I figured it probably wouldn't be the last. We have a Kohler acrylic tub, and I conducted a pretty thorough search before settling on this. The kit contains everything you need (except AAA batteries, which I had on hand). It was extremely easy and clean. I think the color matches well, and I don't really notice, a scratch, but if I am cleaning the tub, I can feel where it is slightly raised (from my average repair work). I would definitely suggest giving this a try (and wear sunglasses and look away when using the UV light to cure!).

Wife pulled her towel off the rack and the bar fell off and put a gash in the tub, I bought this and understood from the get go that it would never be like new however this product was the best one I can find for our tub and it saved us from a more expensive repair. It is a great product that does what it says.

Do not waste your money and time with this product. It does not even fill in the gaps. It does not sand down. Sand paper squares are small and useless. Blue light is a joke. Cant believe I pad $36 for this. It does not match and my tub looks worse now than it did before using this product. Highly recommend steering clearing this product.

I had a small chip in my bathtub and after the repair it’s unnoticeable. Other products I was considering were epoxy that required mixing, had multi day cure times, and no color match. This required no mixing, the syringe allowed for accurate application, it cures in minutes, and the color match for American Standard was spot on. This product is for small repairs. The box says half an inch or smaller and I agree. I’d have to imagine the poor reviews used the product outside of its use case or didn’t follow the instructions. I found this incredibly easy to use and the repair far exceeded expectations.

Seals cracks well but color darkens and crack remains visible. Other products available that achieve both.

WOW .. A product that actually works if you follow the directions. I had a chip in my acrylic tub and amazingly enough this actually worked to fix it ! I have a Kohler tub and the product is just a tad off color but you can't even see it. Even when you are trying to find it super easy to use comes with everything you need.

Easy to use. Took the worry out of making the fix.
