John Frieda Precision Foam Colour Medium Chestnut Brown 5NBG, 1 Application

As I age, it's more difficult to color my own hair. This product is a great, no-drip option. The applicator takes some getting used to but is effective after you get the hang of it! Great Gray coverage too!

I'm a natural brunette and a stylist went overboard with highlights and I walked out a blonde. I used this and it toned down the blonde to the subtle highlight look I was going for. So it didn't get rid of the blonde completely, I may have needed a few more treatments for that. But it gave me the rich brunette color I was looking for, consistent around my entire head and I had some pretty and subtle highlights. The conditioner made my hair feel and look amazing afterwards too, so soft and shiny

This dye works great. I've used a lot of the bottle brands and this one is far superior to the others. It has a rich color and seems to last longer than other brands like Revlon or Garnier. My only complaint is the chemical smell. I've gotten used to Ammonia free dyes, but unfortunately they don't work as well. My review would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the smell. Overall a great product and I highly recommend.

Love the way my hair feels after using it!

I’ve tried to do Home hair color in the past and just made a mess of it. I don’t have anyone that can help me, and I’m not the most careful person in the world. But this hair color foam is brilliant. It’s so easy that I don’t even do it in the bathroom. Believe it or not, I just spread a towel behind me on my bed and do it right there. I know! But so far I haven’t noticed any color splatter on anything (I try to be extra careful but like I said I’m not exactly Graceful). I he does a pretty good job of coloring the gray and it lasts pretty well. I’ve learned where my stubborn areas are and I make sure to do those first, and layer extra on there. If it wasn’t for this hair color , There’s no way I could ever do my hair at home. It saves me so much money. I have dark brown hair with very little warmth to it, so for N is my usual color, but I have experimented with the 4 NGB, Which this review is for, and it’s pretty good too. I use about one box of hair color (I have a fine hair, but a lot of it) until my hair gets a little wet it’s past my shoulders. After that I probably should be buying two boxes, but I can often make it stretch, especially since I’m mostly focusing on my roots. there is no bad scent to the product, and I really can’t think of anything negative to say about it. Honestly I can’t recommend this enough.

I tried this color for the first time, it never foamed like the directions said it would but since I spent the money we decided to put it on my hair. We left it on per instructions. After my shower, my hair looked exactly like it did before using this product with all the gray still remaining. Please do NOT buy this product, it does not work. Now I get to pay to have it colored all over again. A waste of time and money

My scalp is always itchy after dying my hair. The foam is very helpful and less messy. I think it’s worth trying to see how easy and it covers alot. I like the color blend and very natural look No other product with foam capabilities is out so Frieda knows they cornered the market

I expected since this was a well known product, that it would be as before. My batch was watery and even though I prepared an area to do it, it ruined my couch cover. Yeah, it splatters that far. I won't buy again
