Will this leg elevation pillow keep legs straight?

Yes, the groove will keep your leg straight. It also comes with a long pad that can be used to fix your leg.

Does this come in a flat box, so that it has to inflate after opening?

Yes, it comes in a flat box for shipping reason, so it will take a while to let it returns to its normal size.

My mother just had her knee surgery. The doctor suggested raising her leg above heart. Would this work for her?

I think it would. It absolutely worked for me. I use this leg elevation pillow to raise my leg after the ACL surgery, and it saved me. Hope it can also help your mother.

Do you make a pillow that holds both legs?

I have not seen any from King Pavonini but have seen a few that are made like this on Amazon, with room for both legs. Check out Kӧlbs Leg Elevation Pillow or AKVOMBI Leg Elevation Pillows from Amazon. Plus, there are several other styles out there. Happy Hunting.
