ARIAT Women's Terrain Waterproof Boots

1-yr review. Excellent boot. Have worn every day, for hours, on the farm. I still wear a rubber boot occasionally. But these lace-up boots are lighter, more comfortable, and waterproof enough. They are not as fast to put on or take off but worth the effort. They have held up well and will last at least another year of constant, rugged wear. The little flap of leather at the source of the laces curled up after drying from first wear in heavy rain. Not cosmetically ideal but has not affected waterproofing. So I don’t mind.

Had these for quite some time I’m very hard on my feet. I’m outdoors a lot in the mud in the dark. I’m really impressed that they have held up well. My feet don’t get wet. The arch support is great and seems to adapt to my foot although I did purchase the ARIAT insoles for the shoes as I do for most of my shoes , because I have balance issues due to injury and these boots do a great job The boot Quality is excellent And you can wipe them with a microfiber cloth one and they look good as new and I think I’ve had them for about a year and I get them pretty dirty A wipe with a microfiber clothor a dry brushing and tthey look look almost new Was outdoors right before this pic

Super shoe! I am the queen of blisters, after 3-4 hour hikes I go home with tons of blisters, some bleeding with skin rubbed off and some with trapped blood underneath, calluses with blood trapped underneath, black toes (long middle toes and big toes with tendency for ingrown nails), and I have flat feet. Sorry for the TMI back there but if you hike for long hours you will know what I am talking about. I hike in the Badlands trails in North Dakota and I don't know how they compare to trails elsewhere, but I can tell you that these trails are not easy and mild according to their description. I got a small scratch on the shoe after the first wear because I hit a sharp rock as I was climbing up. These shoes did not need breaking in, I received them 2 days before I went on a 6 hour hike, I wore them around the house for a few minutes to make sure I got the right size. They are wide enough that my toes do not get squished even after I finished the hike, the front is hard where my toes do not feel the bumps I encounter, going downhill my middle toes got a few bumps but no black nails afterwards (this is also makes me wonder if next time I should get another half size up). The lace are comfortable to tie and don't untie constantly while you walk, traction is good, I felt I was gripping the ground with my feet which gave me much freedom climbing up and down. Arch support is great and I only started trying insoles with arch support a week before I got these shoes but they were very comfortable. They are not heavy. I felt like I was wearing shoes with heels when I walked at the beginning since the sole is thick, and boy was I grateful for that thickness, the trail I did was full of rocks and hard grass and I was in full control. The edges are not raised much so if you are into ankle support you may not like these, but they were comfortable for me and were high enough but low enough for freedom of movement. The color is the typical brown. I usually wear 2 pairs of socks and put tape on all the areas where I tend to get blisters on. After the 6 hour hike I was still able to walk like a normal person, 3 blisters only but not major bloody ones. I would buy these shoes again but may go another half size up out of curiosity of how they would fit.

Just got the cow design (because they don’t make the cute teal one in C width). I LOVE these boots. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I seriously wear these boots 5 days a week when I am out at the barn and trail riding, endurance riding, doing Western games. My last pair lasted 2 years of rugged use, and I hope these last as long. They have great arch support and carry me through the mud and muck of the Pacific NW with dry toes! Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about these boots! Will be wearing them tomorrow at a horse show, as they are cleaner than my old pair. My ONLY complaint? Ariat doesn’t make the Teal accented H20s in C width. The cow design is cuter than regular.

Very well constructed and attractive boots. I wear mid-weight socks, and the boots are true to size; if you plan to wear heavy socks, I would consider purchasing a 1/2 size larger. I am very impressed with the quality of these boots and I would buy them again.

Very pleased. I tried about 10 pairs of hiking boots/shoes and these far surpassed in quality and comfort. My feet felt "hugged" and supported the second I put these on. We do lots of rugged hiking (wettness and sand) so I appreciated the waterproof feature. I tested that by walking through deep puddles (feet stayed dry!) They broke in beautifully after wearing them on a couple walks. They don't look like they have great grip by looking at them but they actually had better grip than the more"spiky" bottomed Columbia's I tested. The longer the rubber spokes on the sole, the farther they bend and slide. The Ariats also have small grooves on the bottom so you don't have to dig big rocks out. They are waterproof so they are warmer than the ventilated type of shoe. Also I'm a 7.5 and traded the 38 (was a bit roomy) for the 37. My husband purchased the same boots for himself before we did the Half Dome hike in Yosemite National Park, a 16.5 mile, strenuous hike up steep slopes, by raging waterfalls, and through sandy flats. At the end of the 12 hour hike, our feet (and socks) were perfectly clean and dry. I had a blister on the back of each heel from all the steep inclines ( but I have knobby heals so no surprise there, there was no blistering during NORMAL all day wear) and my husband had one blister on a pinky toe. Our feet did NOT feel sore and achy! The boots were caked in sand so i cleaned and moisturized with Leather CPR because with all leather products, a little tlc once in a while and they'll be a lasting investment. *it should be noted that my husband suffered a bad ankle sprain 3 weeks before our hike. Wearing these boots along with taping his ankle, he made it the whole way with little discomfort!

I love these boots for riding horses, hiking and camping! My feet don’t hurt while wearing these and they are very comfortable for my flat footed feet. Have not found anything comparable as far as support!

Super Schuh, angenehm zu tragen und schön viel Platz für meine Füße 😜 ich mag es nicht wenn ich in den Schuh reingezwengt bin. Auch sehr leicht und auch vielseitig einzusetzen. Egal ob Stallarbeit, Spaziergang oder auch reiten. Für alles geeignet 😀

These boots fit perfectly. Comfortable - on my feet for 10 hours a day and feeling good. Only thing is the heels are a bit hard so I got blisters and had to put some heel pads in but now there perfect. Really tested out the waterproofing walking through long wet grass and mud but feet were still dry. Just hope they last longer than my last pair - time will tell.

True to size with room. So comfortable especially riding they lightly bounce on the stirrups when rising ❤️

Have only worn a handful of times since I bought these. Comfortable, mostly waterproof as expected, dried out very quickly after being fully submerged.
