Great for light home office use. I used to HATE InkJets, this printer helped me give Inkjets another chance. My preference for Black and White documents is any Brother B&W Laser Printer. My preference for economic Color documents is the Epson WorkForce EcoTank Printer (which I also use for Black & White documents now). Pros Size. If you compare the Epson WorkForce to the typical Color laser printer, there's a big difference in size and weight. A few years ago, I didn't realize how big and loud a color laser printer is until I bought it. This Epson WorkForce is a nice addition especially if you are limited on space. Cost. I love being able to replace a single color (Black, Cyan, Magenta, or Yellow) rather than the entire color cartridge. I no longer have to stress when the printer stops working when it needs yellow or print documents that look terrible. I hated throwing away ink cartridges that still had ink in it. It was a waste. Color laser printers are similar to this printer, since each color has it's own cartridge. However, for the typical home office color laser printer, the replacement can cost around $60 for ONE COLOR. For this printer it's less than $20 per color for OEM, less than $5 per color after market. Functionality. Wireless. Scanner. Copier. Duplex. This is not unique to this printer, but when I purchase a printer, I make sure it has... - Wireless capability so that I am flexible of where I place it and so that I am able to print from any computer with ease. - Duplex so it can print back and front Cons. Paper Tray. I'm used to larger capacities for paper. If you print out a hundreds of pages at a time, this may not be for you. Print Quality. The Print Quality is better than I expected but don't expect perfect. It gets the job done, it looks professional but don't buy this to print out the best prints. Printer Heads. With Laser printers you don't have to worry about printer heads. If you don't use your printer a lot, the heads my clog. You can clean to maintain it, but this may seem cumbersome. The bottom line: This printer provides a real solution to help customers save money on ink.

Like a lot of these reviews, I had a HP. It was always out of ink and expensive to refill. I look into 3rd party syringe filling but felt it would be messy and time consuming. I jumped at the chance for CIS Constant Ink System. It had its problems too numerous to list in this review, needless to say a couple years later I went to order more ink and found that most of it had been discontinued and not available. Hmm, what caused this? A little investigation revealed that most of the printer manufacturers had started making their own CIS or Tank printers! Finally, all of the benefits without any of the hassles! I was ALWAYS worried that the cat would knock the ink reservoir off the printer table and ruin my carpet, sheesh! I have nothing but good things to say about this printer! I have had no problems for the most part, I have occasionally had to power down and on again to connect to one of my computers in my home, my laptop as a matter of fact that runs a 2.4g connection through my home WI-FI, I really don't feel its any fault of Epson but rather a old WI-FI card on an old laptop I rarely use. I got the 3750 because the screen looked smallish (and it is) and I have big man fingers, works fine with the directional arrows beside the screen although I recommend wearing reading glasses to see it, lol. The ink has lasted a long time, a year and a half after purchase and I just opened the second 127 mL Black ink bottle. My wife is a elementary school teacher and this printer gets used 4 or 5 nights a week, if I had to guess were going through a ream or more of paper a month. Auto document feeder gave me a little grief until I figured out I was being a little too delicate with it, now I just ram a stack in there and it works just fine! So far I haven't had to perform any maintenance on this wonder machine i.e. clean the heads, re-align, …. all that jazz. Just fill it about every 6 months and put paper in it, simple! If this thing could cook food and clean my house I would marry it. I can't see myself owning any kind of printer ever again, if Epson ever stops making the Eco Tank line of printers I will pay serious money to get this one fixed. Not looking like I will have to worry about that anytime soon. Update, I purchased this July 2018, it is now October 2020 and I just now had to order ink, black ink to be specific as I still have half of my color from the original package. Printer works like the day I bought it with no problems. I haven't needed to perform any maintenance on the printer other than dusting it off, loading paper and topping off ink in the reservoir. This printer is a work horse, it definitely goes through a ream of paper per month with no problems. Software updates have been regular 1 or 2 a year so fairly unobtrusive. Once you start getting a little more forceful with the document feeder it stops being a problem. All in all I stand by everything I said before, awesome printer!

The ADF is for the scanner / copier function Only. I needed it for printing and was sorely disappointed to find that not a one of the Supertank printers have a printing ADF. Printing checks with this printer is tricky because the checks must be placed face down in the tray and they're pulled from the highest number to the lowest (e.g., check numbers 1510 - 1535 start printing from Z - A beginning with check 1535 and ending on 1510). If you get a misfeed reprinting is going to take some finagling if you're using QuickBooks. I learned that lesson the hard way and had to void a check. Having said that, I'm keeping it because I Loathe the Samsung printer I have. The Pros: The black and white / greyscale printing is clear and crisp The color printing on Standard mode is lacking in quality; however, that's the nature of inkjets Set up was simple, though I don't understand why instructions for an unrelated printer and scanner were included in the package (The Epson 530 is a standalone scanner and the set up for the 7000 series printers is different than the 3750 so I'm a little boggled) They give you enough ink not only to set up, but to replace ink after the alignment prints are completed; however, my black ink bottle did Not refill to the top line after completing set up steps whereas the color inks did The size is compact It was easy for me to lift and move around into position No ethernet cable was needed to connect to the network (unlike our Samsung) Finding drivers was easy (no CD / DVD tray in my tower) The Cons: Aforementioned lack of a printing ADF Instructions should be for this model only instead of wasting paper and sending unrelated instructions The driver package that has everything in it needs to be updated to include the latest drivers and firmware - I had to update a few times after install; not a huge deal, merely time consuming The 2-sided printing is fiddly - I have the normal set up to print 1-sided, then I printed 2-sided and closed the program I was printing with. When I went back into that program the printer was still doing 2-sided printing. That was Another check to void. Thankfully I stopped it before the other 30 printed. Never trust a new printer the first time out of the box! I wish I wish I wish they had a print-only Supertank printer. I have zero need for the copier or scanner (I happen to own the Epson DS-530 scanner and highly recommend it). I'd trade those two features for a printing ADF tray and larger capacity main tray. I also wish they would specify that the ADF on this machine is only scan / copy as I would have kept looking, or waited for a model that has what I need. $350 isn't exactly chump change for a small business to be spending on a machine that lacks a feature its description seems to indicate it has. We don't change our printers like our undies! Once it's installed and printing, it's staying (unless it's that massively infuriating Samsung piece of junk. Incidentally, Samsung sold their printer business to HP - they knew their product stunk!). Overall I'm happy with it. We're not needing to make spectacularly impressive prints and it does everything else we need (except ADF printing!).

I started out owning HP printers, but became disenchanted with their using 3-color cartridges, in addition to the black one. When one color ran out, you'd have to replace the whole cartridge which, if I remember correctly, cost $50-60. Then, if you had one as backup and the printer decided that the date it read on it was too old, you couldn't use it at all, even though it was unused! Switched to Canon, and was very happy. Multiple cartridges for color, in addition to the one or two for black. You could see through the cartridge to verify that, when the printer said the color was out, it was OUT! But you always had to wait for the first sheet while the printer burped and farted. The resultant prints - text or photos - were excellent. But then Canon started to make printers that required opaque cartridges, and started to do multiple color cartridges. And the prices for ink went way up. So I tried this Epson. I like the way the multiple tanks fill, the cost of the ink, and the fact that they give you a TON of ink to start with. Text and photo prints are excellent! The printer responds quickly to a Print command, and prints quickly and quietly, too. Holds a lot of paper. You have only one paper tray, so you can't select envelopes or photo paper without removing what you already have as your default medium. I'd take 1/2 star off for that but, since I can't, am giving the full 5. There IS one annoyance. But I think it probably should be blamed on Apple, not Epson. (I use a Mac.) I really wanted this printer to do, as advertised, and print on both sides of a page, on demand. Couldn't figure it out myself, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the driver a couple of times, restarted my Mac using Mojave operating system, etc. Called Epson support. Had to push only 2 buttons, and got a person inside of 1 minute. Big Plus. This nice lady from India(?), who was a little hard for me to understand, worked on it with me for, probably about 1/2 hour. In the end, here's the solution. BTW, the solution also worked on an old favorite Canon that would also no longer duplex. Hope this info saves someone from going as bald as I am becoming, due to this, as well as other age issues! Here you go: How to do 2-sided (duplex) printing on Epson ET-3750 1. Click Print 2. Click drop-down in name of application. Ex.: TextEdit 3. Select Printer Features 4. Scroll WAY down to Binding Edge and select 2-sided Long Edge 5. Then, 4 selections below that, turn 2-sided printing ON 6. LEAVING THAT WHOLE SELECTION BOX OPEN, click Print at the bottom. After printing that document, 2-sided printing will default back to Off, and you will have to go through the whole process again in order to duplex another document.

I read the reviews about this printer and thought if some of these are right this is the one to buy. WRONG! WRONG!! WRONG!!! I normally buy HP Printers because they have always treated me right but the SUPERTANK got my attention. I thought "Imagine getting ink bottles comparable to 30 sets of INK Cartridges with the printer!". Sounds soooo goood! When it ARRIVED, I couldn't wait to hook it up. BAD PRINTER! BAD PRINTER!! REALLY BAD PRINTER!!! I hooked it up and followed the instructions exactly but it would not print. It would send paper through the printer but it was blank with an occasional printed page coming through. After two hours of finagling with it, I figured I would call EPSON. That THREE HOUR PHONE CALL got me nowhere! Three people walked me through the same process and even their upper level tech was no help. This printer would not even copy from the scanner as a stand alone unit. There is nothing wrong with my computer, it would not even copy from the printer. Then they wanted me to give a credit card number to ship a new printer. That's when I told them I would be there PUBLIC RELATIONS NIGHTMARE. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER! DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER!! By the way, did I say DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER?! I have an old EPSON that is a great printer but I will never, ever, ever, ever buy another EPSON and I like all of you so much I will suggest the same to you. If one of my customers ordered my printer and it would not work, I would send them another one but NOT EPSON! I purchased an HP and got it working in less than 30 minutes! I will say thank you to AMAZON for making it so easy to return!

UPDATE 02/28/21: Only on the second round of ink tanks! The black is about at 50% and CMY each have about 25% left each. Computer still performs as good as when purchased. Best printer purchase in my life :-) UPDATE 04/09/20: Still(!!) on the original ink tanks! Un-freakin' believable! Loving this printer! UPDATE 6/4/19: Original review is below for purchase on 11/01/18. It is now a full 7 months later, and the ink levels have barely moved. I've attached a photo taken 5 minutes ago that shows the blank ink just below the second notch and all others just below the first notch. Unbelievable that a printer company made a printer that actually can use ink sparingly and not suck it dry just to sell us jacked up ink cartridges every 2 months. And we've gone through at least 3-4 (maybe 5-6) reams of 750-count plain paper and printed probably a dozen 8x11 full page glossy color photos and a couple of dozen glossy 4x6 photos. I'd give it 15 stars if I could. Otherwise same positives and negatives as in the original review below. Highly recommend this printer!! Quick review to say that this thing really does use ink as slowly as Epson advertises. I bought this a couple of months ago and the ink tanks (which you can see through the little windows as well as check in the software settings) are still 98% full. The printer prints pictures on glossy paper just as nicely as my canon printer did. No issues at all with wifi connections with any of the computers at home, unlike the canon which lost connections daily. Only complaint I have about this is the less than user-friendly settings for setting up scanning preferences. For example, if there is a way to scan in B&W instead of color, I can't figure out how to set it up. So color it is, which results in larger files (PDF or JPG). Also I tried scanning a photo and it turned out awful, and I couldn't find any settings to tweak things like the levels/colors of the scan. But, cell phones have such good cameras and scanning apps now it is easy to scan pictures that way. The expected super-duper low price of replacement ink makes up for the scanning issues (to me) to keep this printer at 5 stars. Finally a company that is not raping you over the ink cost. This alone will keep me buying Epson.

If you can afford $200 -300 a month for ink then this may not be for you except if you don't like running to the store and looking for the ink bundle you need then this is perfect. Owned it now for over a year and -0- problems. I cautiously read all the negative reviews before purchasing which created apprehension on my part. Negative reviews turned out to be sooo wrong. This printer is perfect in every respect after you learn all the functions. I've had not one issue with it and we use it a fair amount. Printing about 100 pages a month. We have not needed to fill any of the tanks in this past year and still have plenty of ink left. My only worry is whether the extra ink received with the printer will last without using it. I've set it up to print from cell phone when I'm out & about. We scan, double side print, scan to print, etc etc etc. All function properly. I do run a full scale color photograph once a week to ensure all the colors flow smooth. The printer screen is a bit small to read however easy to follow on screen instructions when needed. We purchased the 3750 with the auto paper feed. Now that is the only thing on the printer that does Not run as expected. It jams easy with out of balance originals or super thin originals. Everyone says that and I concur. I'll take that since the remainder runs like a charm. The upper models you get a little faster print times and 50 sheets of paper larger loader. You should be made aware of the following: The draft mode is very faint to read. We just set on regular mode since ink is not an issue. The sharpest vivid color or black & white setting will not be quite as sharp as the HP ink Jets but it is acceptable to me. If your critical and need each page to look the best of the best in sharp bright vivid colors then you "may" be a little disappointed. The vivid color section & black & white is very very good, just not professional printers quality. Well worth the savings though when you think about the $$$$ you are saving. I purchased Epson's high end photo paper and photo Linen paper and printed pictures with it. It turned out fantastic and perfect for a nice picture frame on the wall. Ink Jet printers these days are $75 with $85 for ink -- so you could have one as back up for your super critical days. The rest of us will be perfectly satisfied with Epson 3750 vivid colors and sharp blacks as they are great for brochure publishing etc....... A critical shopper I am so I more than recommend this printer as you will be soooooooo glad you purchased it. Spend the little extra now and save later.

We have used this printer for two months now in our home office and can highly recommend it. Here is why I like it: 1. Very east to set up on our wireless network and interface with our computers. Wireless connection has not dropped a single time to date. 2. Very large ink supply provided with the printer. Enough for about 20,000 pages. Replacement ink bottles are much less expensive than cartridges. 3. Ink is very easy to load. The ink tank ports are color coded and the bottle heads with only mate with the correct corresponding tank port to keep you from loading the wrong color into a given tank. 4. You can tell at a glance how much ink you have remaining by watching the exterior ink tank level windows. 5. Scanning software work very well and is easy to use. We have used it to scan and load old photos into our genealogy software. 6. Printer acts well as a copier. 7. Print copy quality have met all of our needs. The only caveat I have encounter so far is the need to print something at least once a week or so to keep the print head from drying and clogging. Bottom line - This is a very good printer and I believe you will be very pleased with its performance.
