Wind-immune lighters that earn their spot in the camp kit
Picked these up specifically to replace the Bic lighters that fail every time the wind kicks up at a campsite. The dual arc fires up immediately and stays lit through gusts that would have me cursing at a regular flame. USB-C charging means I can top them off from the same battery pack the rest of the camp gear uses. Plastic body is lighter than the metal versions but it's fine for the price, and it slides into a zipper pocket without bulk. Battery indicator is a nice touch. Realistic con, the arcs are hot enough that you can't hold the trigger for more than a few seconds without warming the body. Solid 2-pack value, one for the bin and one for the truck.

Be Prepared for emergency's
I'm attempting to be prepared for what I expect may be coming in the near future and that is a large earthquake. This is part of my disaster kit. They work great and are easy to use. I recommend that everyone be prepared to be without power, and water for several weeks. This will make a great addition to anyone's emergency kit.

Easy to use and durable
These are nice, easy to use lighters. They both have durable rubber covers, which is nice to have. I had to re-eduate myself on filling the butane one, but once it was filled it worked great with a reliable strong flame. The electric one worked well straight out of the box,but I went ahead and charged it. I don't know how long the charge lasts yet, however. They came with very nice lanyards making transport easy and accessible.

Non-smoker review
I purchased this 2-pack of lighters for an upcoming camping trip. I am a non-smoker. The butane lighter is fairly standard. It has a protective shell that keeps water out (i.e., from rain or being dropped into shallow water). Filling with butane was easy enough and required removing the actual lighter mechanism from the protective case. I used basic Zippo fuel. No issues with the lighter. It worked multiple times with no issues. Flame was effective for lighting candles, a lantern, and tinder for a small wood stove. The electronic lighter was interesting. This was my first time ever using one so had a learning curve. Charging requires an old style USB plug. This went pretty quickly from a wall wart power adapter. I would have preferred a USB-C plug but not a big deal. There's a tiny button to start the lighter. When I say tiny I mean that as with gloves it would be cumbersome. The "flame" is a continuous x-shaped spark between the eletrodes. I suppose for a cigar it would work well but it was clumsy to use to light tinder or the lantern. Lighting the stove was frustrating. Candles were easy enough. Again, the intended use is for cigars/cigarettes so I can't really fault it for that. I do like the fact that I can charge it from my solar charger, were I get caught in the woods on the way home from work and had to survive with my wits and a lighter. All said, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would buy again.

Best electric lighter out there!
These lighters are amazing. I'm a smoker and enjoy riding my motorcycle, however I don't want to have to stop my tour short to have a smoke. Normal lighters don't light in high winds. This lighter lights quick, easy charger, and attaches to my gear so I don't lose it on the ride. Absolutely perfect. Not to mention the price is amazing!

Never be without something to make fire.
I keep these in my truck. I am always prepared for the worst. I have only had to use them a couple of times, but they are there. The electric one is good for lighting paper or other light materials. The butane one is for everything else. The nice part of the electric one is that you can charge it from your vehicle. The electric one is also not bothered by the wind. With the rubber coating and the snap lid, I would imagine they are at least water-resistant.

Great SFX, Zero Fire: A Masterclass in Tease and Disappointment
I followed my sacred Amazon shopping protocol: high star rating, thousands of purchases, zero critical thinking. I was promised fire. What I received instead is a tiny, handheld theater production. Here is the exact operational breakdown of this "lighter": * The Fuel: I filled it up with butane. I can literally see the liquid sloshing around in the clear plastic shell, silently mocking my existence. * The Sound: I press the switch down. HSSSSSSSS. A dramatic, highly promising hiss of gas. The suspense builds! * The Spark: CLICK! A glorious, bright spark jumps across the nozzle. It looks so professional. * The Flame: Absolutely nothing. Pure void. It has every single ingredient required to create fire, yet it resolutely refuses to unite them. It is the ultimate blue-balling of pyro-technology. It’s like buying a car that revs the engine, flashes the high beams, turns on the stereo, but doesn't actually have wheels. If you need a device that impersonates an angry pit viper while generating zero thermal energy, this is a 10/10. If you actually need to light a candle, you’re better off rubbing two damp sticks together in a rainstorm. 1 star for the ASMR hiss, 0 stars for functionality.

Ugh
Only the arch lighter works. The butane one doesn't.

Butane lighter useless
The butane lighter won't fill up with butane - tried 3 universal butane gas refill cans, no success.

Low quality and expensive
The cover is good. But once you take the lighter out, you can see how bad and cheap material it is made of. Does not worth more than five dollars max. I don’t understand how it gets this high reviews!! Something is wrong
