These syringes worked well for this purpose and allowed us to easily administer the correct ml's of this crucial medication. While it is possible to purchase these syringes in packages of one, I advise against doing so & highly recommend ordering them in multi packs like this one, because after using one of the syringes for a while, even while cleaning them out well after each use, eventually the rubber in the syringe starts to stick as you depress the plunger to administer the medication making it extremely difficult to squirt the liquid down the dogs throat; even if you are fortunate to have your pet like the taste and cooperate. We had one who loved the taste and waited patiently and one who hated it and ran away. It is unfortunately quite normal for this to happen & does not reflect negatively on the manufacturer.
