Cable snake
Works great and is quite compact

Practically perfect
This tool has been a game changer at work. I install pre-fabbed custom booths for tradeshows and expos. Not all the time but many times I find myself having to run a cable up or down through a wall to meet up with electrical drops on the floor under carpeting / flooring and this has made my life so much easier. Previously I was using scraps of banding to fish cables through these exhibits and this has me all the difference. I especially appreciate its compact size as I don't use it on a daily basis but I do use it enough that it has to be in my tool box(es). So, it doesn't take up a bunch of valuable space or add too much extra weight. The build quality is also there. It's got all the things I look for when purchasing a new tool: price vs quality vs practicality. 10 out of 10

So Good I Bought It Twice (Yes, Even After It Broke)
I was running a wire through the wall and this little guy made the job ten times easier. It’s compact, simple to use, and actually gets the job done without turning into a tangled mess like some fish tapes do. Now, full honesty: the tip on my first one snapped off mid-job—which I assume was a one-off issue—but it was so helpful that I immediately bought a second. That one’s been perfect so far. For light jobs and tight spots, this tape is a total win.

Works great
The trick to pulling it is to wind it and keep tension on the wheel with your thumb so when you pull it it doesnt unspool in the case and lock up

Surprising use for making homemade musical instruments.
This might be an unusual review: So, I did not use this for its expressed purpose. Instead, I cut the snake of spring steel into about 3 dozen lengths to use as tines for homemade thumb pianos (kalimbas, mbiras, what have you, look 'em up, you'll probably recognize them) The plastic casing stated that it contained some gnarly pthalates that are good for wreaking havoc on the human body, but it was assembled rather like Legos and came apart very easily, no crushing or cracking required. So that came off and went into the recycling, maybe to be turning into some other weird plastic mess, maybe to be dissolved into toxic goo, I don't know, it's probably not recyclable. Anyway, the spring steel uncoiled and I worked from there. It's not the best quality spring steel - it's not the best quality steel, period - but it keeps its form pretty well, and if you apply extra pressure, it'll keep that new form well too. For keys on a hand piano, it works so far. For that purpose however, the steel ribbon is a bit too wide, half a centimeter I think, and so these are all decidedly for bass tones. Affixed to a cigar box with an ugly, homemade nut, elevated and secured, it really does sound just fine. Some luck (or more likely, skill) is required, as many of them sound buzzy - still cool, just in a noise-genre sort of way. But hey, it's working out. Next time, I'd buy a spool of smaller fish tape. The thickness is good for this application, but yeah, maybe a bit too wide. Also, I have no idea what I'm doing. Anyway, great cable snake.

Mediocre-at-best. A good and inexpensive solution for rare-to-occasional use, but not for any craftsmans toolbag.
This isn't the sort of thing you want to use every day as a professional. I used it one time, for one project, and probably never will again. So, it was a good purchase. I used it to fish cables through an insulated wall. The clip at the end is useless, I just taped the cables to the fish tape. It's a bear to get it to feed, and it doesn't feed smoothly. Despite it functioning about as well as a rusty old crescent wrench, it's covered in oil. So except to have oil-covered fingers and clothes when using this silly thing. I'm glad I bought it, because it did the one-time job I needed. But if you're looking for an addition to your toolbox, look elsewhere.

収納するのに時間を要します。 職人が現場で使うのには向いてないかと思いました。

It does what it supposed to do

Bought a second one. Very useful for walls and much better to handle than the standard ‘yellow tongue’ poly cable feeder. Long enough for most jobs and very easy to carry.
