Apple iPhone 8 Plus / 7 Plus Leather Case - (PRODUCT)RED

I bought this case from Amazon Warehouse used but listed as “Very Good or Like New” one of those, and it came xtremely used. Scuffed up gouges and faded. Very disappointed In Amazon’s inspection team. Wow! BUT Amazon gave me a credit and I ordered a “New” one. Case itself is nice. It’s minimalistic and seems it would offer light protection , but good grip, very comfortable in hand and looks great, and I feel it would offer enough protection from casual drops.

Not the most practical of cases- I still feel like I'm carrying an $800 piece of glass around- but it is so well made and fills out the phone's aesthetics, I am having a hard time going back to the more practical Otter I initially purchased for it. It is slippery enough to slide in and out of a pocket easily, but not so much it that it won't stay put. Apple devices are so impressive naked it's hard to put any kind of clothing on them, but this one definitely shows it in the finest light. Whether or not it protects it from anything more than dropping it six inches onto a couch remains to be seen.

It amazes me how Apple can charge so much for their accessories and people like myself will buy them. This case is probably worth no more than 25 or 30 dollars. But that being said it beats out every other minimalistic case I have used. I believe Apple must know this, at least with their cases. The case is very sleek. The buttons work as if they are the actual phone buttons. The case is as light as a feather. The leather covering is super nice but makes it a little slick As my title says it is almost like not having a case on your phone. If you like this type of case I highly recommend it. It should offer a degree of protection from dropping because it adds no weight to the phone. I highly advise a screen protector with this case. There is a lip around the phone but very minor. I can’t attest at this point as to how the leather will hold up but as with anything it boils down as to how you take care of it. This is definitely not a rugged type case and should not be used in a harsh environment. I would suggest a leather cleaner to condition it when needed. If you are the type of person who likes their phone caseless then this case is your best choice should you decide you want to try a case. If you are a guy and keep your phone in your pocket this case will be very easy to remove because there is no resistance. Just don’t let it slip out of your hand. Once you get use to the smooth texture I don’t think you will have any problems.

This is definitely not a value for money case, but it’s the Apple official leather case so you shouldn’t have been expecting that anyways. This case is nice and warm to the touch unlike plastic, slim and yet has protected my phone from multiple drops onto hardwood floor from pocket height. It shows wear a bit more than the hard plastic cases, but that’s part of the character of leather. It’s much cleaner than silicone cases which are lint magnets

I do not always write reviews, but felt this one was worth sharing. I have tried several cases and really like this case. I now have it for my Apple 8 and 8 plus. Nice quality, fits perfects, a little high priced for what it is in my opinion. Fits slim into pocket, or a belt clip designed for an Otterbox Symmetry or Commuter. Works well with a slight manipulation to the clasp that holds the phone in the case ( bend the plastic clasp slightly because the case is so slim. I do not know what some others are talking about, this is clearly an Apple product and designed for the phone.

I burn through phone cases pretty easily so I was nervous that this was made out of bonded leather. One little scratch and that thin layer of leather peels off. But so far so good. I've had it for almost a year now and it's still in good shape. I absolutely love the color and it looks classy. 10/10 would buy again

This is the second case I bought, I bought one at the Apple store when I first got my phone 2 years ago. It lasted but the case cracked while I was pulling the phone out; it was my fault. It fits my IPhone 7 Plus perfectly. Phone is still free from any dings or scrapes after two years. It’s slightly above the screen so it protects when the phone is face down on a smooth surface. I’ve had other cases for less money but this one is the best, so I deemed the price justified.

Came as a bright abnormal “orange skin tone” color, but absorbed natural oils and darkened into a rich color. Way to expensive but is a nice thin leather case. No issues with inside cover leather peeling but I’ve only used it for about 3-6 months. This is for “hand experience” and light scratches. Don’t kid yourself that it’ll save your phone from a real fall. You know you, so keep that in mind.

Es la segunda funda de piel que tengo para dos iPhones diferentes. La calidad de la funda es indiscutible, no creo que pueda encontrar otra funda de piel auténtica que esté tan bien acabada, han cuidado todos los detalles al máximo, la presentación es la típica de la compañía, los acabados al milímetro, la adaptabilidad al teléfono es como un guante, no es pesada, al principio da la sensación de que se resbala un poco, pero con el tiempo se va quitando, la calidad precio es bastante buena, pensando que es una funda que la anterior me duró años. Por supuesto, la funda es 100% original.

Das Paket kam sehr zeitnah an. Beim auspacken ist aufgefallen, dass die Verpackung des Covers bereits geöffnet worden ist - die Hülle war jedoch auch als „gebraucht“ bei Amazon inseriert. Ich war jedoch überrascht, dass die Hülle keine Gebrauchsspur aufwies. Das Handy wirkt dadurch weder klobig, noch unhandlich. Das Cover schmiegt sich an, als gehöre es zum iPhone. Und ganz ehrlich, bei einer Hülle aus Leder sind Gebrauchsspuren mit der Zeit ganz normal und machen eine solche Hülle auch aus. Mittlerweile hat auch meine einige Kratzer im Material, was ich aber nicht weiter schlimm finde. Wem das jedoch nicht gefällt sondern ein kratzfestes Cover sucht, dem empfehle ich eher auf eine kostengünstigeren Variante umzusteigen (mehrfach austauschen) oder zu einem Cover aus Hartplastik zu greifen.
