Here in CA there is always a drought so I try to reclaim as much water as I can. I place a bucket in the corner of my shower and capture the water used to warm up the water before getting in. I then use it to water plants and refill my bird baths. This bucket is attractive, kind of matches the grey tile in my shower, and holds just the right amount that I can carry when full. I had another just like this which I purchased several years ago (at least 5) that started to crack on the bottom. I can't swear this wasn't caused by my handling of it but in any case, I feel it paid for itself in usage.
