Intel BX80684I38350K 8th Gen Core i3-8350K Processor

While the built in graphics works fine for general use I tried a GTX 1050Ti low profile graphics card which has greater capability than I need for general office and programming work. With a M.2 Samsung EVO 970 SSD my computer is plenty fast. I also have an i7-8700K in another computer which tests faster but is over-kill for my applications as I am not stressing it with lots of graphics, games or simulations. Tests show the i3-8350K as I configured the computer is in the 95th percentile (and the i7 with a GTX1060 graphics card in the 98th percentile) but what matters is this i3 works great. Check out performance with various components on user benchmark sites.

This is a very nice processor. I wanted this for a second PC that I was building for fun. I have to say the overclocking potential is very high. I was able to get this to 5GHz with ease. It's not the best processor for multithread applications due to it's lower core count and lack of hyper-threading, but it's great for gaming. Pair it with a GTX 1060 and it would make a great lower budget gaming PC.

How can you go wrong? Performance that rivals a Core i7 from just 4 generations ago. Outstanding gaming performance for older games that need raw single core speed vs multi-core threading (i.e, FSX, in my case). Great day-to-day home PC performance. Low temps (27*C idle, 40*C peak). The one downside is, you can only overclock it, despite it being an unlocked CPU, on 3-series Z3xx motherboards, that cost more than other 1151 boards. Can't take stars away for that, since I knew it going into the purchase. And still a great value.

I bought this for a girl's gaming PC. I wanted something cheap because she doesn't game like I do, but she does enough. She already had an old gen i5, but since I upgraded the mobo, I went ahead and did RAM and CPU as well. Needless to say, she is not having any problems. She is gaming on 1080P with a 1050Ti and 8GBs RAM. Plays AAA titles and looks good. I put a Noctua low profile fan on it for cooling. There has not been any complaints, so I am satisfied.

Works. But why is it advertised as 6 cores??? It has 4 not 6... Anywho it’s fast for my needs. I would definitely recommend it.

This is my opinion on this processor, I'm not an enthusiast ,I'm not an expert either . However, since a lot of processesors are increasing in prices.this I the one I can afford to upgrade my rig. Like any ordinary consumer, I do my research first to find info on what I am trying to buy specially electronics. I find this processor is fast even though your not over locking it. But I' am bothered by how much heat it's producing on idle, and with an AIO for water cooler at 42 degrees it's ok. However, while playing games it climbs up to a whooping 87 deg. And that's water cooled?. So I search for other ways to improve my terms, found some which is more expensive way which I don't have the money for. So, I found that deliding your CPU could improve your temp. So I tried it, now my temps are idle 28 deg, and 48 full load not exceeding 50deg. And I try overclocking it to 4.5Ghz for awhile just to see the temps change idle is still 28-32deg and full load is around 48-55 degrees. I'm a happy on this purchase it woul be another 10 yrs to get a new rig.

I use this processor to run a flight simulator with 46 tb (Yes, 46 tb) of global satellite imagery. It is taxed hard and runs with water cooling at 4.7 Ghz trouble free. I did a lot of research before buying and I made the right choice with this one. Definitely the best CPU for the best price...

This expensive product is shown with a box in the photo, but when the item arrived it was sealed in a sandwich bag with a label stuck to it. In spite of this crappy packaging, I gave it to my son for his birthday and it didn't work. How disappointing!

Preso questo processore , in abbianata alla scheda madre gygbite z370p d3 e alle memorie 2x8 gb da 2400 ballistix sport per allestire un pc sopratutto da gaming . Essendo un serie k non ha il dissipatore . Ho preso un freezer artic 13 . Come scheda video ho una sapphire radeon rx 480 nitro + da 8gb . In full hd , Assetto corsa competizione , gira bene , anche se e' un gioco in fase di sviluppo . Al momento non ho fatto overclock . Prezzo cpu+memoira+scheda madre , in linea con un ryzen r5 2600 . Pero' essendo un I3 si poteva un po' abbassare il prezzo , ma ultimamente intel ha prezzi alti . Comunque un buon processore . Per giocare non fa rimpiangere il multicore.

Le multi-tâches est complexe avec ce genre de processeur. Mais pour une utilisation de jeux, avec une application de communication, et quelque programme ouvert en arrière plan ainsi la plateforme de jeux, cela fait parfaitement le taff. Je l'ai combiné à une RTX 2070 Gaming OC de chez Gigabyte.
