Real Crumbled Bacon, 20 Ounce

A quality crumbled bacon, NOT extremely fatty like other brands. This is the ONLY one I will use!!

These are very good and they are fresh, and Amazon price matches what I pay in the store. Which by the way they don't always stock them in the store.

I love these bacon crumbles on baked potatoes and salads. Salty enough that you won't need to add additional salt to anything that you have sprinkled these crumbles on. Just the right amount of bacon-y flavor to satisfy my taste buds and the crumbles don't require refrigeration when stored (unopened) in my pantry. Very flavorful

Love these bacon bits. They are actual crumbled bacon with no fat in it and perfect for salads, scrambled eggs and bacon, grilled cheese and bacon and whatever else you can think to sprinkle these on. I will go out of my way to find the Hormel bacon bits and was happy that Amazon was selling them in the large bag.

Growing up, did NOT have the choice to have real bacon bits in a bag, only the old spice jar with those pinkish-brown rock-hard pieces of unknown origin. Once I tried the Hormel bacon there was no going back (& who in their right mind would WANT to?). Some of the chunks are a good size, too. I use these in omelets, mac & cheese, salads, tacos, whatever I think they'll be good in. I was tired of buying those small, 3.5 oz packets for $5-$6? I wasn't bringing in the bacon, I was paying it out. Great pricing for the amount of bacon you get, refrigerate it once you've opened the bag & be careful that you don't empty the "fresh pack" that's in the bag to your food dish when shaking the bag :-o.

I love adding bacon bits to my daily salad and usually purchased the brand from a big box store for a cheaper price. However, that product was a lesser quality and contained a majority of pure fat pieces and very little actual bacon. I felt it was a less healthy product than the Hormel product. Though I do like the Hormel product, I'm giving 4 stars because the price is really nuts and getting worse, and I'm honestly buying it far less often. I'm searching for a similarly good product for a more reasonable price.

This product is very good. Some of the pieces are kind of large, but they’re very lean. Hardly any fat. It’s not a problem to mince them smaller

Sprinkle it in scrambled eggs with broccoli, sauted onion, mushrooms and cheese for an omlette, add it to quiche and salads where recipe includes bacon bits -- favorite is salad greens/arugula, baked glazed pears, mixed nuts, & feta with lemon viniagrette dressing . Great for making bean soup if I have no leftover ham bone. Sprinkle as garnish on tomato soup with little basil and sour cream. Takes every day dishes up a notch. Was initially reluctant to purchase but, saves time, energy and clean up when full strips of bacon are not needed; has less fat. Stays fresh in fridge after opening. Resealable bag. To date, I have not found pieces of fat or gristle like you can in store brands. My "go to." Also see Hormel black bag premium product.
