Great for lighting the fire especially if you're a little afraid of fire. You can't use a newer cable like a USB C to USB C cable because it will not charge you'll have to use a USB A to USB C cable.

I personally love this product, needs charging maybe once a week or twice depending on how many times you use would recommend

Do not buy this lighter. It is completely useless. I used it once, charged it once, and by the second recharge it was already broken and would not charge at all. A rechargeable lighter that stops charging almost immediately is a complete waste of money. The product may look sleek, but the build quality is terrible. It failed after barely any use, which is unacceptable for something this simple. Once it stops charging, that is it — you are left with a useless piece of junk. I am leaving this review to warn other people not to waste their money. If you are buying this because you expect convenience and reliability, you will likely be disappointed. Mine became unusable almost right away. Save your money and buy something else.

Work very well on Gas and candles. Battery life is quite low but I just bring a battery pack with me if I take it camping to solve that problem.

This candle lighter is impressive. The wand is sleek to hold and easy to use. Slide the button upwards and blue lights appear to show you how much power is in it. Beneath that, press the button down to activate the mini taser at the end. This lit my candle quickly and without issue. A perfect replacement for the gas lighters I always used.

good for several years but just broke down

I didn't quite understand what this was when I bought it - I thought it must produce a flame somehow. But no, there's no fuel to allow it to do that. It just produces this spooky arch of bright energy between the prongs at the top, which actually bends around the wick of candle and then ignites it. It's great for lighting tea iights without burning your fingers. Be aware that the USB charging lead isn't the standard one it first appears to be, so don't throw it away because you alread have loads of those. It's a slightly bigger and wider fitting at the other end of the USB cable. The charge lasts a long time and shows you when it's running low. .

Saw these online a while ago but didn’t think they’d work well so never bothered. Someone in the family happened to buy one and said they were brilliant and they were converted. I got one and wont go back now! It’s fantastic! The rechargeable battery is awesome, it’s so much easier and safer than matches and I no longer have to keep refilling lighters!

Note that the lighter will only last about two months after purchase, as the battery stops charging. I should have read the reviews before buying. Update I am revising my rating to 5 stars. Recently, I purchased an electric screwdriver that required a specific cord and charger for proper charging. I decided to try the same approach with this lighter, and it worked flawlessly. Possible Explanation It seems the lighter requires a charger that delivers the correct voltage and current, which some generic cables or adapters may not provide. Using the original or a compatible high-quality charger appears to resolve the charging issue entirely.

I was very happy to buy this gadget since I’m not a big fan of lighters or matches. It’s easy to use. It worked great, but after two years it stopped charging.

Item stops charging after 3 or 4 charges. Mine is only 4 months old and already won’t charge anymore. No customer service to reach out to. Buy a different one.

I am happy with my new electric lighter but I am over the top happy with the nice letter of thanks that I received from the wonderful owners, with which I understand is 3 girls that also establish positions for individuals with disabilities! To me this is a wonderful blessing in a world that is starving for love and compassion amongst the needy so I am honored and blessed to have made this small purchase from this company. I hope whoever reads this will take my word for what I'm saying and consider purchases with this company as well. My Mom would use the good Word of the Lord and would say they are "worthy".
