Working perfectly with good quality sound.
These two EJEAS® E6 Motorcycle Helmet Bluetooth Intercom Headset worked perfectly out of the Box. I was replacing a pair of "Scala Rider G4" Bluetooth Intercom Headset which eventually gave up the ghost after 10 years use (20,000 miles). The Scala were excellent but very expensive and so I was looking for something a little less costly and am extremely pleased with Value for Money EJEAS®. The Build Quality of the EJEAS® is excellent and the 9 buttons are easily selected, depending upon your choice of function. The "ON" Button is the big one with a Motorcycle Printed on it (3 seconds press). The "OFF" Button is the small RED button (one quick press). Nothing could be simpler. To pair with my Garmin Zumo 660 Mototcycle Satellite Navigation, I simply held down the "ON" button for 6 seconds until Blu/Red flashing, and it was recognised and connected immediately by the Garmin. If you're pairing with the Garmin Zumo 660 Motorcycle Satellite Navigation, it is important to connect your Samsung Mobile Phone directly to the Garmin Zumo 660, not directly to the EJEAS® E6. I'd be interested to know if anyone connected a Samsung Phone directly to the EJEAS® E6, as well as a Garmin. I think if you did, you'd lose the ability to monitor incoming and outgoing calls on the Garmin Screen. However, if not using a Satellite Navigation System, simply connect your Samsung Mobile Phone directly, using the EJEAS® E6 "Phone" Button. It is marked with a Green Telephone. To pair, hold it down for (3 Seconds). Just a word of caution; at first, I thought the pairing between EJEAS® E6 and Garmin had to be repeated each time I switched off either or both the EJEAS® E6 and Garmin. This is because there was a 30 second delay after switching on both the EJEAS® E6 and the Garmin, after they'd been disconnected for a short while. I was WRONG and in fact the reconnection of both the EJEAS® E6 and Garmin re-connected automatically and perfectly; I just needed to be patient. This is a major requirement since it would be a pain to repeatedly "pair" after switching OFF. Overall, I am delighted with the quality of this EJEAS® E6 device and the sound is really good, clear and loud. 2 Volume Control Buttons, "UP" and "DOWN" are positioned between the ON Button and the Telephone Button and are quite small, so will need to be selected accurately. I have not yet tested the Microphone quality, but with the flexible choice of both a "Boom" or a wired Microphone, I am sure the sound will be fine. Battery life seems to be about 12 hours (it may become less). After a full charge, I left my EJEAS® E6 switched on and connected to my Garmin with music transmitted by Bluetooth from my Garmin, so I was able to "soak test" the battery duration. I am very pleased with battery life, since it will appear to last a full day of riding. However re-charging with a Power-Pack, on a ride, should be simple. One thing missing which I was able to access on my "Scala Rider G4" is FM Radio. But quite honestly, accessing FM Radio on the "Scala Rider G4" was always too fiddly so I will not miss it. Anyway, my MP3 Collection on my Garmin is all I need on a ride.

So impressed I had to write a review...!
After a long time reading and watching reviews for motorbike headsets I found that virtually all brands and price brackets had a similar amount of good and bad reviews. It made choosing a minefield, but I eventually decided that the E6 was the one I was going with and worth the 'risk'. (The shorter review is that it certainly was...!) Installation into my HJC Rpha 70 helmet was easy enough- the wires fit under the pads (which just clip off and clip back on) and the microphone is stuck on with a velcro pad- better sitting slightly to the left of centre at the front to avoid the microphone cover touching your mouth. I went with the clip mount, rather than the stick on mount on the side of the helmet. Knowing what I was doing made me quicker the second time, installing into my girlfriend's Scorpion Exo 510 helmet. Pairing to my iphone, her samsung and each other's helmets was very simple and quick. The maiden voyage was a 3 hour round trip on (UK) motorways, A roads and B roads and the E6 performs incredibly well. Hitting the Motorway, the volume needs to be on full to cope with wind and bike noise, and it's plenty loud enough. (Listening to music alone, full volume would be too loud for me...) We were able to do 70mph and still hear each other perfectly- any faster and wind noise in the helmet would be a factor. (I had less noise in my HJC than she had in her Scorpion, but I do think my helmet is very quiet!) Range wise, I'd guess at 600-800 metres in a straight line, less when you hit turns and more built up areas. The systems reconnects you automatically if you drop out of range with each other. Granted, it's only had one good run out, but if it carries on like this, I'll recommend it to everyone. The only reason I didn't go for 5 stars was it only having one run so far. I couldn't afford to stretch to Sena prices, so £83 for a twin set was worth a try. I was so impressed I had to put this review in and hopefully it will help folks decide.

Why aren't these more popular?
This is our second set of Ejeas Comms, originally having the V6, we upgraded to the v4 plus as we wanted to be able to listen to music, hear sat nav and still communicate without having to faff with buttons while riding. Initially just the two of us (me and hubby) used these for a year before my son passed his test and now we're on 3 way Comms without any compromise in functionality. Sometimes there's some interference when its on a 3 way, but really can't complain for the price point. Sound is really good quality, but can be harder to heard on the motorway in heavy traffic and wind noise, but probably depends on your helmet too. Easy to pair up if you watch the online videos and if you go out of range they automatically reconnect when back in range. Really love these for the money, did a 1500m tour of the Scottish Highlands and had no issues. Also battery life is better than an old Nokia, I can use all day with sat nav and music and come home still on 100%!!!

Good but did not last!
The units were fine when first used,at low speeds they were good considering I have a 1500 Valkyrie 6 into 6 straight through pipes. Had them just over10 weeks used just the once for testing 30 mins tops. Put them back in their box ready for next time. Came to use them after a few weeks both would not turn on, put them on charge, charging light came on, 2 mins later went off. They are officially broken. Amazon were contacted they were very good and a refund has been agreed. Real shame they would have done the trick. If one had broken then I would have replaced it but not both of them.
