Outdoor Wall Mounting Bracket for Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner Heat Pump Systems, Universal, 7000-18000 Btu Condenser

High quality and easy to install.

I just installed the 9k-36k BTU bracket on my brick exterior wall and overall, the quality of this bracket seems pretty good. The supports are made from a fairly heavy gauge sheet metal and they were able to hold my body weight after being attached to the wall (185lbs). The instructions are poorly translated to English, but following the diagrams is pretty straightforward. A note, the instructions tell you to use a 2/5" drill bit for the wall anchors, which is an absurd drill bit dimension. I used a 1/2" masonry drill bit and the included wall anchors fit very snugly in the holes, requiring a hammer to get them in all the way. The powder coating on the metal also seems pretty consistent, although I thought they were a little beige from the pictures. They are not beige, they're plain white, in case that is an issue aesthetically.

These worked perfectly for the new mini split system I installed on one of my rental homes. The holes lined right up perfectly the installation of them were a cakewalk and try hold a great amount of weight as well ! They give great support to the unit that they are supporting! Will most definitely be purchasing more for any other units i purchase for my other houses

This is a great mount and so far is holding my 18k MrCool condenser perfectly. Due to it being only 30” wide, only the middle 2 bolts can attach to typical 16” stud placements. I do not recommend using the included anchors. With how heavy this condenser is, and the value of it, all 4 bolts should really be in wood. I’m mounting to stucco, so the anchors wouldn’t have done much anyway. I added some cross studs for the 2 outer bolts, which was a pain as I had to cut into my drywall to do so. If you’re mounting inside an unfinished garage or wall, then that step is a little easier. If this had only been 32” wide you could have probably gotten away with mounting 3 bolts to the studs and a 4th for security somewhere, but alas. Nevertheless, with some forethought, this works great…

The brackets are definitely strong enough and they have a pretty durable finish. The mounting bolts are a bit overkill if you're mounting to a wood sided wall. I sealed mine out for a little shorter stainless steel lag bolts. The bolts supplied for mounting the compressor are too short to allow for lock washers so I swapped them for some longer stainless bolts as well. Still a good investment.

This mini split condenser bracket arrived quickly and was packaged as to protect it on the way. The bracket was easy to install and is of quality material that should hold up for years to come. I used these brackets on a dual unit and a single condenser and they helped me with reducing the visibility and my use of space.
