How thick is this screen protector?

It’s very thin like a millimeter thick

Is the screen protector water proof and what I mean by that is that it won’t come off when your in water?

I shower and swim with it daily no issues. Apply it per directions and you should be fine

Will this fit correctly a 42mm iPhone?

You have to order the size according to the size of your Apple Watch. The one I ordered was for the Apple Ultra Watch. They do make them for the 42mm. Be careful and make sure you order the correct size. The sizes are 40mm, 41mm, 44mm, and 49mm depending on the model you have. Hopefully this helps you.
