A: Any meter what is going in the DC millivolt range.

**Q: How hot can the wire get? It's stainless and fiberglass, does it need shielded from flame?**
A: I’ve had mine directly in the flame and glowing at 1900 degrees with no issues in the forge.

**Q: is it ok if i use it for a max temp. of 800°c? (to unwax molds), I have seen people complaining about problems with higher temperatures**
A: I do not know, it is reded for 100 C to
1250 C it should be working.
