I’m very happy with this Modelones nail prep and builder set. The kit comes with a nail dehydrator, primer, and builder gel, which makes it a great all-in-one system for preparing nails and creating stronger manicures at home. The nail dehydrator and primer work really well. My body chemistry is very oily; these are really great at removing oils and helping the gel adhere better. I noticed a big difference in how long my nails last—my gel polish and extensions stay on much longer with less lifting and better durability. The builder gel is also very nice to work with. It has a good thickness that makes it easy to build strength and structure on the nail without running or flooding the cuticles. It levels nicely and cures well under a UV/LED lamp, leaving a smooth, strong finish. I also like that the bottles are easy to use, and a little product goes a long way. This set is perfect for DIY manicures at home or anyone who wants to make their gel nails stronger and last longer. This is the first time I’ve ever used builder gel and I LOVE IT. My nails aren’t strong, they never have been. Most recently I’ve been using poly gel to extend my nails. This time around, I really only needed an overlay. A friend suggested I find builder gel. I ordered this one and the next day I used it. WOW! So easy to use. The texture is like very thick gel polish. There’s a learning curve, but it’s easy to work with as long as you follow the instructions. It self levels, so it doesn’t end up streaky/with ridges. I got my bottle in the color clear and it is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I didn’t have any issues with bubbles. If i had just left the builder gel on, it would’ve looked nice on its own. Very shiny and neat. It hardens more than gel polish on its own which is perfect to protect and support my weak nails. There’s also very little smell. Overall, an amazing tool and much quicker to use than traditional nail strengthening/lengthening products. 5 for arriving as pictured/described - 0 (absolutely no notes) = 5 Stars

It works as described. My only complaint is that in order to maintain a peak at the nail apex, you have to dry upside down and shape with a nail file. It strengthens weak, thin nails. It is clear. Overall great product.

In my recent exploration of DIY nail polish at home, I must express my satisfaction as a beginner. The product is quite effective. Notably, it lacks the sticky residue often associated with nail polish. The coverage is impressive, providing a polished glass-like finish. Additionally, the durability of the product is commendable. However, I have encountered challenges in achieving an even application on my nails. I have experimented with both false and natural nails, but it has been a matter of trial and error. The more I use it, the better the results become. *On a sidenote, I must say that in the beginning, it takes a little bit of getting used to when you apply it and put it underneath the lamp. It’s very hot and it little burns a little bit under your nails, but I got used to it.

The consistency is perfect! not too thick or runny and it self levels effortlessly, making application smooth and beginner-friendly. It provides excellent strength and durability, leaving a clean, glossy finish. Highly recommend!

Great stuff! It protects my flimsy nail. It has strengthened them where I don’t have to worry about breakage. I apply a thin coat. Cure it. Then apply one more thin coat and cure. It lasts for weeks! So glad I use this builder gel! I get bored of my color before this needs to be reapplied!

I normally buy a nail builder from Sally's. I ordered this because it was cheaper and did have good reviews. I only put on one coat, my nails felt strong, so I don't know if that was my downfall. I work at an elementary school so it's not like I am doing something that is rough on my nails. I was only a couple hours into my day and it was cracking and literally broke my nails. I found it takes a lot more time to soak off as well compared to my usual brand

Excellent kit for beginners! Love this kit, the dehydrator and primer are great and work so well, the gel builder is actually a very nice quality but it ran out quickly because of how much I was using but there’s still PLENTY of the primers.

This builder gel is a game changer! I have been doing my own nails for over 20 years but have only recently switched from regulars nail polish to gel ( maybe 1.5 years ago ). I have been on the hunt for the best / longest lasting brands and have found some that are quite good. However, I was still not getting the 3 weeks that are advertised. I ensured I followed all the proper steps from prep to proper curing between coat, ensured my color coats are thin and even and so on. I would routinely get a full week or week and a half, but if one of the edges started to lift, the entire nail would peel off. I would still get small chips here and there but still MUCH better than regular nail polish. But sadly as I age and from not always removing the gel polish the proper way my nails had started to get weaker /thinner causing my nails to be bendier and peel ( not so much break) making me keep my nails much shorter than I would prefer. SO I thought I would give this set a try and see.....The builder gel has made my nails SO STRONG! It is VERY thick when you apply it but it does self level to ensure your nail bed is smooth and flat. I now have my nails at the length I want and feel so confident that I can just simply live my life without thinking or worrying that my nails will break or my polish will be damaged. This building gel is keeping my polish looking amazing day after day. I would highly recommend this to everyone and will never do my nails without it again!

Lasts a long time. Very shiny, nice neutral Color. Hides well the imperfections on top of nails.
