So far so good. My granddaughter was afraid to try bikes with training wheels. I got her this balance bike and she was apprehensive at first but VERY quickly is seeming to find out how to balance and keep the bike upright. We don't have the pedals on yet, so I may revise the review then, but so far she is doing great and is actually begging to go out and keep trying. Most importantly she is now having fun learning to ride. Overall the bike is easy to assemble and quality seems to be great. The seat has a nice handle on back for adults to help hold it steady if need be. It also has two cable brakes which is nice. So far, I'm impressed. Granddaughter has a 24" inseam and this bike is large enough to fit.

This bike was great for my 3 year old. The pegs sticking out are a little obnoxious when the pedals aren't on, but my son worked around them when he was learning to ride this with no pedals. It's so easy to put the pedals on and the bike is great quality. Super durable for a very rough and tough kid. He's now four and rides this thing with pedals like a champ. The water bottle was the first to go. It was a fun accessory that lasted about 2 hours and wasn't really necessary. Overall great value, great look and function.

Great bike for my son. He loved the color and easy to put together and ride. Breaks work great and came with all the parts. Great for exercise and outdoor fun in the sun!

Initially I was disappointed in the size as I thought this would be way too small for my 7 year old grandson and at one point was returning it. After more consideration I decided to let grandson check it out and it worked out to be a good fit since seat height was adjustable. He went from not being able to balance and pedal to doing both in one afternoon. Being able to touch ground helped and kept him from crashing when first trying out. I like everything about it except pedals are a little small and I wish they were larger. Very little assembly required.

We have used this bike less than maybe 10 times. The tires bent. The seat is hard and way too small. It's kind of Janky actually. For the price I honestly thought it would be more sturdy. The seat that comes with the smaller kid bikes, shouldn't be the same one included with the big kids bike. So I had to buy parts, to add to the bike. In the end I could've saved myself money buying something nicer.

Lengthy post about a big win for us! For the past 3 years we have off and on tried to teach my now 8 yr old son how to ride a bike. We tried standard training wheels as well as oversized training wheels. He would ride just fine until we found uneven ground, then it became frightening to him to the point it was never really enjoyable. Bought the 18 inch balance bike, it came in yesterday and was conveniently 95% assembled. Steering wheel and seat needed to be placed on but was simple to do. At first glance my son saw that bike and I could see in his face, "oh great here we go again". After some coercing from my end I got him to give it a try. Had some learning error with the seat height. Advice to others, I naturally raised the seat to match his height as you would for any bike, but he couldnt balance well and kept bumping his legs into the pegs and it almost ruined the whole experience. Once I lowered the seat all the way it gave him the chance to really ride with his legs a little wider and with more confidence that he could catch himself when off balance. He gave it a go for about 30 minutes yesterday and we called it a day. He let me know it was fun and he really liked his bike. I thought to myself, yes we have a chance! Today comes and he's ready to give another go soon as he is home from school. He picks up the balance pretty well in his first couple of runs down our drive and so now he works to placing his feet on the pegs while balancing. I think wow that was pretty quick. Then after about 20 minutes or so he says let's try the pedals. I kept thinking maybe it's too soon but we go ahead. Pedals were a breeze to snap right on and he was on his way. He rolled down the driveway and just kept on going! We then rode around our block about 5 full laps. He was so excited but I was even more. In less than one hour of practice with this bike and it did more for him than the previous 3 years practicing with training wheels. I highly recommend this product or any like it for ALL beginner bike riders. What a game changer!
