Just ensure you are putting them in studs, my husband recommended using 2 support pieces if they are getting bigger rather than just the one. **Q: The instructions are not very clear and pieces are not labeled. How do you tell them apart?** A: They are all the same with the exception of the houses. **Q: Will this work with gorilla glue double sided tape?** A: Absolutely mot. These need to be mounted in the stud of the wall. **Q: On the cloud shelf, how many screw holes are there? In the picture I only see two spots to mount to the wall. Bought these steps to allow her to get around the wall to different platforms. I love these units. Bought 2 sets to do what we wanted as I liked them after I purchased the first set. Easy to assemble and we painted ours different colors. Very sturdy but I admit I used the screw in wall anchors to anchor to wall. They were just easier to screw in. Out kitten has a ball running up and down the wall. She is small enough to sit on them. Padding is sturdy and looks to last a long time. Our cat immediately used them and because of the wide step seemed very at ease on them. They mention how they are for specific walls (concrete, brick, etc.)and the included wall anchors are only for what is mentioned in the description.
