Best wax brand.
I have tried many different brands of pottery wax, and I keep coming back to Amaco. It works better than any other brand I’ve tried.

Cleans out of brush well
The wax was easier to see on application than the clear waxes. I have a dedicated wax brush, but still clean out after use to prevent build up. This wax cleans off easily.

Good wax resist
I was hoping for the colored version rather than clear, and that’s what I got. Just enough tint to help you see where you’ve waxed already. Helpful with really detailed stuff. Keep your brushes clean and it won’t clump up. If I want glaze to really flow off of fine detail I will give it a quick once over with a torch after it’s set about an hour. Not to much or it will burn off. To keep it as fresh as possible, I poke a small hole in the seal and squirt a small amount into a small bottle, then use that for a while. A small amount(couple tablespoons) will wax fifty or so mugs. I dilute it a bit with some water, not to much. Most of my techniques have evolved in order to save money, so YMMV.

Failed product
It failed to keep glaze off the bottom rim of my pieces. Terrible quality. The product I received is watery and milky white, not the color it is portrayed on Amazon. Not sure if that has something to do with it. Do not buy this wax resist, you will end up having to clean the glaze off where you didn’t want it.

Thinner
This pot is more jelly like and thinner. Before the thinker and to be able to thin it down with water was better

Goes on nicely, easy to clean up, changes color once dried (goes from a lite green to a real dark green) only thing is it takes a real long time to dry and is tacky till dry. Just need to be patient till dry Even once dried it cleans up easy

plastic pot is a pain as everytime you open you get wax on hands, I poured it into a glass jar, much better

El producto llegó abierto y se derramó todo dentro del paquete , exijo reembolso o un producto completo y en buen estado. Es bastante caro como para ur lo manden tan mal empacado y mal sellado
