Best shoes I ever owned
I have had these shoes since October 2018... and they are still holding up!! Don't get me wrong these shoes are ugly and definitely won't help you make a fashion statement but functionally they are the best shoes I ever owned.I have pretty wide and flatish feet, and go in between sizes 6.5 or 7 depending on the brand. These fit great. I have plenty of space for my toes. No pinching but also not too loose. I like the sandal nature of these as well.So.... I slip or stumble walking on normal ground... but with these I have hiked in wet slippery and muddy terrains and have not fallen down. I also have gotten in shallow streams with those mossy slippery rocks and have been fine! Yall I am serious about this non slip business... One time on this guided hiking tour through this tropical, wet, muddy, rocky, hilly path, we were with these excitable (and I guess super athletic) bunch of teens who essentially half-ran through the terrain and really sped up our group. It was so fast and strenuous that I puked from exhaustion BUT I never slipped while run-hiking!!! That is essentially a miracle if u r as clumsy as I am!!!I guess if I have to come with cons... they don't really have that great arch support. But I have worn them for hours at a time and never really felt uncomfortable.

Defect - had to send back. :(
I really like these sandals and they would have been a solid 4 - 5 star had there not been a manufacturing defect. The strap placement on one of the sandals is different than the other causing a much larger opening over the toes on one of the sandals. The larger opening allows my little toe to "escape" (that dang toe has never been a fan of containment). I've requested an exchange, so I'm hoping the new ones will not have this issue. I've included pictures and measurements that show clear difference between the sandals. As for the rest of the sandals, they are comfy and great for women with wider feet. They are what I was looking for, functional, comfortable and cute. I don't care for the look of most of the other boxier Keen sandals. The straps on these make them look more feminine but they still maintain the comfort Keen is known for. When I started looking for sandals for my upcoming vacation, I was torn between these and the Keen Rose. I ordered both to compare. I have wide feet with high arches and the Rose didn't fit me as well because of the non-adjustable ankle strap. As I did with my Rose review, I've included a comparison between the two below just in case anyone else is having trouble deciding between the two styles.I will also update this review when I receive the replacement sandals that *hopefully* don't have the same defect.KEEN Bali Strap vs Rose Comparison:-Rose has non-adjustable ankle strap; Bali has two adjustable straps at the ankle area.-Rose straps are made of softer material against the skin. It feels velvety as opposed to the typical cloth material of Keen Sandals. Both are comfortable but if the Rose straps fit me better, I would prefer their material.-Rose feels more secure because the toe straps go up higher on the foot.-Rose has a more cushioned sole. Bali Strap has a more contoured sole. In my opinion the sole of Rose would be better for long distance walking on relatively flat surfaces. Bali Strap sole would be better for climbing, or walking in rocky/unstable areas as the contoured sole gives the foot a better "feel" for the ground under the shoe.-Bali Strap has an awkward opening near the small toe which can allow the small toe to "escape" (especially if there is a manufacturing defect making the opening larger than it should be; see my Bali Strap review). The straps on the Rose are closer together, which effectively keeps those rouge little toes contained. If both sandals had fit me, I would have definitely preferred the Rose. However, the Bali Strap is the better option for my feet

Order 1/2 or 1 Size Smaller!
I have been waiting for Keens for forever! I am not disappointed! I was searching for a pair of sandals that would be comfortable to wear at the lake, on the creek, walking to the mailbox, running errands - but I needed something for my 30-year-old feet that was more than just a flip flop. I lost my big toe nail last summer when my horse stepped on my foot, and it has not grown back fast at all! I’m super self conscious about it to the point I won’t go get a pedicure anymore, not until it comes back. I came across these Keens on Amazon, and I love the fact it doesn’t show toe nails! The first pair I bought was my normal size 9. When they arrived, they were too wide, too long and my toes stuck out of the straps. I returned my 9s and purchased 8s. What a difference! These shoes are so adjustable, lightweight, comfortable, I still have wiggle room and my toes stay right where they need to! No more Converse in this summer heat and I don’t have to be self conscious about my toenails anymore. My feet can finally breathe. ❤️

Love my new shoes
I am very happy with my purchase. Great casual sandals with a sporty look. I can see where the straps over the pinky toes could be a problem for some, but my feet are shaped so that the straps cover them fine. 4 stars instead of 5 because they run a little big and wide so they are loose. Its not a deal breaker for me because with the adjustable ankle strap the shoes stay put. But if you're like me and your feet are actually in between sizes, and would rather have a more snug fit, I would recommend going the next size down. Like for me, I am really in between a 7 and a 7.5, and always buy shoes in 7.5 because a 7 would be too small. But the 7.5 in these Keens leave a lot of sole in the back if my foot is all the way forward. In a closed shoe that would be a problem, but these are just fine.

Might be a bit bigger than your usual size
Great sandal with good support. Might be a bit bigger than your usual size but not by much. Consider this when deciding what fit you would like, as return policy is not the most straight forward. Also instead of black my sandals arrived in the grey colour, luckily i like it.

Exactly what I was looking for
Exactly what I wanted and needed. Returned my first pair as they were too big. Return was handled quickly and easily.

Leggeri e comodi
Keen o li ami o li odi.
