OXO Good Grip Twisting Jar Opener with Basepad, One Size

I feel like a wimp for ordering this, but the good news is that it works!

Tried it on some jars and it works though certain types rake more effort. Still it will be useful in the long run.

I've used OXO Goodgrips before. I already had a jar lid opener but I found it clumsy to use. I have weak wrists and even with the standard ones you need to twist to assist to get the lid off. Not with this one. It's innovative! Firstly, the little silicone mat it comes with to place the jar on is genious. It keeps the jar steady while using the main twister. The twister is brilliant. I've used it for all jar lid sizes so far it works on all of them. It does all the work. You twist it but the main force is applied for the gadget so it's comfortable to use. I've not seen one like this before and it's a game-changer for the best in our kitchen. It's good value for money. I would purchase it for a friend or family member.

Very good product/tool to open any container lid.
