I bake coarser rye breads, How does it do with coarse grinds like grinding Rye meal, or rye chops?

The Mockmill is fantastic! It's easy to simply crack your grain or mill it to the point of a VERY fine flour. Simply adjust the stones the way you want it. I love mine and have used it every couple of days now for over a year to turn out 3 or 4 loaves a week. I do wish I would have gotten the 200 since I would like to start making even more bread for friends and family. Everyone wants GOOD fresh bread!

will this do mung beans, lentils, chickpeas and rice?

Yes, you can grind any dry non oily grain or legume. Corn, rice, chickpeas, mung beans, black beans, pinto beans. lentils etc. Oily beans like coffee can not be ground, they gum up the stones. With anything larger than wheat, rice, rye or barley, etc you should grind it twice- open it up to it's widest setting to crack it into smaller pieces, then close down the stones and mill a second time to the fineness that you want.

Will it grind corn for masa, to make tortillas?

Sure. I will grind field or dent corn into corn flour. Not popcorn.
