I bought the exact same air filter for my Kia Sportage in March of 2021 and the air filter cover would not close once the new air filter was installed. On closer inspection it was noted that the gaskets were of different size, the new filter gasket was much bigger. My husband put the gasket from the older filter on the new filter and the air filter shut perfectly after installation. I do not think it was compression of the old gasket that made it smaller because I did not have the installation problem in 2020 when I replaced the air filter. ### ⭐⭐ To short *by M***J on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on 25 February 2020* Bought this for my Hyundai Tucson. Unfortunately it is about 1/16 to short so it doesn’t make a good deal.
