The instructions for how to use this machine are clearly written, and the included CD helps clear up any missed detail. Threading is easy, and illustrated on the machine itself. I was sewing within minutes of setting up the machine. I tried sewing through some strapping tape that my other sewing machine was unable to sew through and amazingly the machine handled the bulk of the fabric without a problem! Very happy with my purchase, which was delivered promptly and on time.

I used this infrequently for home sewing. I used to sew every day now, for example, I was making a shirt for Christmas, also infrequent hemming, etc.. Don't use it that much yet have had threads tangle under cover plate, cover plate hard to remove, easy to remove presser foot but not to put another back on - have to be aligned perfectly. Just more little problems than I experienced with my Bernina I had for 20+ years or even my 40 year old Singer I still have as my back up machine. I was in a rush to get this shirt done for a friend for Christmas and I'm still working on it. Got a tangle under the needle place. To remove it one screw came off easily, the other I used penetrating oil and the tool that came with the machine to get it off. My review may be too negative as I'm very disappointed at not getting the man's shirt done on time for Christmas. I am used to great relatively trouble free machines and this one isn't.

Wife has sewn professionally, and trusts Juki, saying they last forever. I hope she's right. The 120 is a good balance of price and features. Be sure to carefully check out the features on the 110, 120, and 220. All are the same basic machine, with features added to as the catalog number goes higher. We wanted the thread cutting feature of the 220, but didn't think it was worth 100 bucks more. I like the fact that it can use common, cheap presser feet. We ordered a 48 piece set for about fifty cents apiece, and they work well on this machine. It appears that a cheap walking foot will also work. That's good, because Juki parts are breathtakingly expensive.

I love this machine. Everything about it is perfect! With the money.

After a very long delay of two months (out of stock), my new Juki sewing machine arrived a month ago. One important thing to note: it came with a USA power cable, not much help to me here in the UK. Luckily, the cable from my old Juki fitted perfectly. Am still finding my way around it, but really like it so far. Much larger space to accommodate bulkier sewing, LED light (very bright), lots of patterns, an alphabet font and numbers. Foot pedal control is brilliant, slow/fast speed, needle up/down button, start button if you don't want the foot pedal. Much larger overall than my previous model and am looking forward to getting very creative!

Worth it. Sew very smooth. It's not top of the line but still a very good machine.

Die von Amazon selbst verkaufte Maschine ist zwar zeitnah geliefert worden, nützt mir aber nix. Sie ist wohl für den amerikanischen Markt. Zumindest sieht der Stecker so aus. Anleitung war ebenfalls nicht auf deutsch, aber das hätte ich noch ertragen. Der Mitarbeiter vom Support war so hilfsbereit, mir einen Adapter zum Kauf anzubieten, aber damit ist es ja nicht getan. Und mit Trafo etc. hampel ich bei so einem teuren Gerät nicht rum. Schade Schade. Da ich die Maschine als Geschenk gekauft habe und in der Produktbeschreibung keinerlei Hinweis auf das "kleine Handicap" zu finden war stehe ich jetzt ziemlich verärgert und ohne Geschenk da und hab auch noch die Lauferei mit nem 12 Kilo schweren sperrigen Karton zur Post. Warum vermerkt ihr sowas nicht in der Produktbeschreibung? Dann käme man sich nicht so veräppelt vor. Also Amazon: Danke für nix!

I have a weaving business and do a lot of sewing. Love this machine. It has both foot peddle and fingertip operating. Only took me a few day to get use to operating it with fingertip. Would not go back to foot peddle. It goes through thick jeans with ease. Been using it every day for over a year. I owned several sewing machines in the past. . This is by far my number one pick.
