Why does it not fit flat over the camera lens? Is there a trick to make sure that the cover lays flat? It feels awkward like its going to fall out

I’m not sure what you mean. The outline around the camera is raised but the case still fits and wraps around the edges on the display. Mine has never just slipped out.
