You would think it would include the basic setup materials

It seems like a solid product. However, for the first use you shouls calibrate it. No where does it say that it is not already calibrated and that you need to buy the calibration solution separately. Probes I have bought from other vendors came with enough solution for an initial calibration so I expected this one would.
