We love the First Discoveries Books & this one did not disappoint! There are a lot of areas covered, from tree types, seed pods, animals, why forests are important, insects, flowers, forestry... it's perfect if you're looking for an overview of a forest biome. This will be a central book in our fall forest nature studies as I homeschool my 3- and 5-year-old.

Great book for nature lovers
A lot of information about plants and animals inside, realistic illustrations. Small format, hard covers and pages inside. Suitable for the youngest readers. My 2 years old loved it.
