Metallic Marker Pens

I recently grabbed this set of Dyvicl metallic markers for all the DIY stuff I do—rock painting, scrapbook pages, card‑making—and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite supplies. The colors pop so well, especially on black or dark paper, which is a bonus since I love working on darker backgrounds. Here’s what I liked: The ink is opaque and shiny—once it dries, you really see that metallic finish (especially the silver and gold). They’re easy to use and the tip gives you enough control to do lettering or smaller designs without it turning into a blob. A few thoughts to keep in mind: On very slick surfaces or very dark/absorbent papers, you might need a couple of layers to get full coverage. Like any craft marker, the bigger the batch of work you’re doing, the more consistent you’ll want to shake or prep them so the color flows well.

These are amazinggggg. Opaque, buttery smooth, glided on multiple surfaces (including pumpkins). Love the colors. Haven’t had any concerns with leaking. Size of them makes them feel very good while drawing.

I love the colors. On scrapbook paper they don't bleed. They look great on black paper. I also use them for my signature on my art pieces. Must have for scrapbooking. I will buy more in other colors. Highly recommended.

Photo is in my black-paper asemic book. Color order from the top going down is gold, bronze, black, silver, white, blue, green, light green, purple, and dark red. As you can see, the inks themselves do not fully match the examples given, hence the subtracted star. The inks also don't behave entirely as expected; most wash out with a silvery over-layer, blue and red require multiple layers to even show (killing the effect I was going for), and white goes on clear at first before slowly 'drying' into white, so it might be difficult to be accurate with it (thankfully, accuracy is not my expectation when writing asemic). On the other hand, sometimes they give an interesting '3D' effect if the metallic pigment collected on one side of the brush, which looks neat, though is not consistent enough to be reliable. It'll serve its purpose; they're no better or worse than the Zebra metallics I was using in this book. I'll just have to make sure to use them quickly before they dry.

I bought these for a retirement party for people to write notes and attach polaroid pictures to a mini scrapbook with dark blue paper. The pens worked really well. The lighter colors and the metallic hues showed up extremely well. The ink flowed richly. The entire scrapbook will be cherished. Great item, great price.

These markers are okay. A friend bought some and I loved how vibrant the ink was, but the pack I got had very dull colors that don't show up bright on black paper. It's hard to get thin lines from the brushes, which could be user error, but I apply light pressure and still get thicker lines than I'd like. They also aren't supposed to be stored facing up so the ink doesn't dry out, and they must have been stored that way before they arrived because three of the markers don't have smooth running ink. Not worth the price for the quality I got.
