​I recently used these relays for a complex 12V project involving high-draw accessories, and they have performed flawlessly. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, however I examined one last night. They appear to be a very high quality unit. The pigtails on the plugs are 16 ga wire and they are sealed into the plug base. There's a nice silicon gasket that seals the plug into the relay bottom. It is also numbered as to what the terminals do. The wires are color coded, red for the power in, black for ground etc. I think they are yellow, blue, red, black and white. The relay itself has and sturdy mounting lug on the top of it as well. I think they are rated for 30 amps? The set comes with a schematic showing four different ways to wire them up. These are a five pin relay. The instructions say to leave the center terminal 87a disconnected. I've never used that one so I don't know what it does. You get five of these relays in a box and for the money I think it's a good buy. If the relay part of them stands up I'd recommend them.

I’ve used these for wiring up electric fans on street rods. Better quality parts than others I’ve used in the past. Great it includes the pigtails too.

Used all 5 as they are weather proof and look really efficient at performance. This is my 2nd order of these. Dont want to NOT have one when the time comes. Great price also. Pigtail come with different size wires

For the price it works great. My only issue is they don’t use copper wire but it dose not affect operation

I was tempted by some cheaper options but glad I went with these based on reviews and hope I can add to the assurance that these relays are worthy fit for your project. First of all this is an actual 30amp relay!! The line/load wires are thicker gauge than the sense wires. Almost 10gauge (I married it up to 10 gauge and thought it was a bit lighter gauge but up to snuff!). Quality wires with thick insulation. Quality plastic. Rubber gaskets in the socket to marry up to the relay. You can tell the relay is engineered for a watertight fit into the socket. Soft potting material on the underside of the socket. Ample insulation on generous length of the wires. It's a good sized and quality product I'm not afraid to throw at the heaviest loads. One real benefit?! I usually install Amazon relays where I can access them because they don't usually have a long life. This relay is going to last. Working with it, feeling it in my hands, connecting and testing .... there's an unmistakable quality present. I like having that surety walking away from my projects. Recommended highly.

Received only 4 relay units instead of 5! Product description clearly says it's a "5-Pack 40/30 AMP 12V DC Waterproof Relay and Harness - Heavy Duty 12 AWG Tinned Copper" Another thing that did not meet product description is all units came with 16 AWG cables instead of 12 AWG!
