I also purchased the sponge recommended and some smaller sponge brushes from Walmart. I cleaned the cabinet with krud kutter deglosser. I was concerned that the cabinets were so shiny and slick. I did two coats and had half the paint left. So I did the 3 bathroom doors. Two coats plus touch ups and I still had some left. Paint goes a long way. Completely worth the money.
