I’ve been wanting this collectible Gloria Estefan Barbie badly, but Walmart sent her utterly destroyed. I’m a collector. I ordered her again through We R Toys a they were absolutely TOP NOTCH in the way they took such amazingly great care in shipping her to me along with a sweet thank you note. So professional! This Cuban Barbie is so pretty and has a beautifully sculpted face I’ve never seen before (obviously a new mold). The packaging was simply amazing. The doll was padded well in her box as seen in photos, and shrink wrapped too, and this should serve as a prime (no pun intended) example of how Amazon and their third party sellers SHOULD ship items to consumers. Not in cheap plastic mailers/envelopes without bubble wrap or no box at all. This actually happened to me 😳. We R Toys clearly has a good conscience and it’s exceedingly obvious they want their customers happy. A role model doll and a role model company that other businesses should follow by example. They will do very well I predict. I can’t thank them enough for their steller work and super fast shipping! Will be a customer for life! Thank you! 👍🏻 A hundred million ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

With a bunch of mishaps due to my parcels and its contents being squashed (no refunds on these), I was kind of worried about my newly acquired Gloria Estefan Signature Barbie doll arriving in one piece. But she arrived in South Africa yesterday. Packaging box completely intact, and my doll and her box in absolute stupendous condition! I am thoroughly thankful to whomever were responsible for packing her! And what a gem she is! Her sculpt is unique and she actually looks like Gloria Estefan. There is totally no pixilation at all. Gorgeous wild curly hair. Her outfit is in a league of its own - though I would have preferred her 'belt' to not be printed on. I'm pretty sure some buyers will acquire her with the sole intent of getting their hands on her outfit and BOOTS! Her box is slightly bigger than I'm use to, but it displays lovely. All in all, she's a wonderful doll and I am a very happy Amazon/Mattel Barbie collector! Should you get her? ABSOLUTELY!

I loved that Mattel did a Gloria’s Barbie. I bought two, one to be inside the box as a collector’s item and the other to display it and “play” with it. It looks like as Gloria but her skin is darker, and the real Gloria is white, in the oficial photos the doll looks more white. I also bought the Wonder Woman doll, that actress is brunette and the barbie is white as Gloria’s doll had to be. I understand she approved the design but I think Mattel did it on purpose because of the “latin heritage”, that thing bothers me, not all latin are brunette… That’s my only protest about it. Anyway, If you know a Gloria Estefan fan, no matter the age, this doll is a great gift.

I'm a collector. She's quality. Should have bought her when she was released.

Great for display and okay for play. The doll has a Barbie extra articulated body. Very good mold. Very good screen but eyes are really shiny and pixelated under camera flash. She looks like a Gloria in her 30’s. The clothes stain the doll. The jewelry is matte and boring. No embroidery or intricate details just printed, stenciled, and glued pieces to trick the eye. Hair is shiny and soft but gets tangled and matted easily.

Leider ist auch auf der Collector Ebene die Qualität geschrumpft. Man bekommt einfache Gelenkkörper und leider eine Hand mit schwarzen Verfärbungen. (Wie in meinem Fall ) Leider sind diese Flecken unmöglich zu entfernen. Trotz Schutzfolie unter dem Jäckchen. Wäre es eine 25€ Puppe würde ich darüber hinwegsehen. Aber nicht bei einem Preis von 70-80€! Da sollten schon Gesicht, Körper, Haare perfekt sein. Da ich sie insgesamt vom Outfit und Gesicht hübsch und ansprechend finde, habe ich Ersatz angefordert. Und hoffe das da alles perfekt ist. Schade Mattel das ihr nicht mehr schafft an die Qualität der 90er Puppen heran zu kommen. Die Kinder von damals wären heute eure besten Kunden 😁
