What are the measurements in American?

The length of the blade is 9.4". The length of the saw fully extended (unfolded) is 19.7" & folded is 10.6".

What is the deal with the case? I thought it had a belt loop but if you wear it you can't open the top easily. Seems a waste

It can be opened while on a belt but the top of the case has a snap closure for safety so it doesn't accidentally open.

Does the silky gomboy cut on the push and pull or just the pull?

This saw is also designed to cut on the pull stroke.
