ARES 70198 - Low Profile Impact Socket Adapter Set - Impact-Rated Heat-Treated Chrome Vanadium Steel Features Knurling For Enhanced Grip

I was surprised how often I have used these low profile adapters since I bought them. The design locks onto my torque wrenches and ratchets and so far hasn't dropped a single socket. The low height allows me into places I couldn't quite reach before.

I mainly used the 1/2" adapter on my 3/8 impact driver. Completely solid, no problems at all. Only issue I had was trying to remove it from my socket bit as it was a very tight fit. I ended up using a small cold chisel and putting the blade between the adapter and the socket then smacking it with a hammer. Popped right out, no damaged to adapter or socket. Did this multiple times and it's still solid. Very well made.

Love these low profile adapters, use them daily, had them for years and they’ve never broke or given me any issue. I liked them so much I bought them as gifts for friends. Great value, I’ll always have these in my box because they don’t take much away from your original headroom with whatever socket you use with them.

They're nice and work well BUT.. lol I wish they were a LITTLE slimmer because they are KIND OF bulky.. haha

Haven't used them yet but a great idea. Look sturdy and low profile compared to traditional adapters. I really like them!

It’s a descent product for what I use it for. I can grip the knurled part and get it off when access is a issue.. not bad little adaptors

These are by far the best low pro impact socket adapters i've used, the other version with the magnets are much looser, and the magnets break or fall out. These provide a tight fit, maybe better than without the adapter due to the built in ball detent. The first order actually had some rust in the 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter, but another was sent out promptly.

Worked well to covert a 1/4" ratchet to a 3/8" ratchet with a low profile adapter

I have been running these adapters for 3 years now through HEAVY use with air, electric and ratchets. They are so low profile and I would buy them again if they ever break but I doubt they will.

Had to change the gaskets on my Harley and this set made my life much easier.

Amazed at how these adapters hold up! I’ve put the 1/2-3/4 adapter through some beatings with my milwaukee high torque 1/2” impact and was very impressed with how it held up. Due to the compact size it allows for less torque to be lost than with the standard size adapter or extension. Must buy!
