Review: Based on my good experiences with OtterBox for my previous phone - I bought this case as an alternative option to another case I had purchased for my new Galaxy Note 8. The first case was very smooth and protective, but I found it to be a little too slippery to hold. Based on my good experiences with OtterBox for my previous phone, I decided to give the Commuter Series a try. The case was delivered very quickly, which was a nice plus. The case was easy to put on the phone and so far, it has been wonderful! It is protective and adds a good weight to the phone, without adding additional bulk. The color is a pretty soft pink and I also enjoy the rubberized sides, which gives the phone a little extra grip, so it won't fall from your hand easily. I have dropped my phone a few times, once from my hand and it hit the floor of a store I was shopping in. The phone was fine, no scratches and the case remained in tact. I also have a screen glass protector on my phone, which helps greatly. Overall, this is a great case and I would recommend it! Review: So far, so good. - It was easy to put on/take off. Has built-in port dust covers - more on that in a bit. What I like: Seems sturdy and well made as I've seen with other people's cases by Otterbox. (This is my first Otterbox product). Its secure all the way around and fits like all my previous Otterbox cases. I'm happy to report it fits well with my Whitestone Dome tempered glass! At first I was afraid it'd push the glass up around the edges, but I was able to gently lift the rubber edges up over the glass for a perfect fit. Very happy with this purchase.
