Great product !!
After having a terrible reaction from a major brand of beard dye I had almost given up on the prospect of coloring my mostly white beard. This product is quite amazing, I used the light brown which left my beard a medium golden blonde look which was perfect for my blonde hair color. It is recommended that you apply before bed and it will darken over the next 12 or so hours. When I first applied it and rinsed it off my beard looked like a pea green color and I thought I would be shaving it off the next day. To my surprise the next day it looked great. It wasn't so drastic that many people even noticed. Someone actually asked me if I had been on vacation and another person only asked if I had grown my beard longer. Definitely worth a try. Time for an update, I am ordering this for my third time. It works really well with no irritation. It seemed to be much darker when I first used it but now a lighter color. I wonder if it loses its strength over time. One package usually lasts about 3 months with using it two times a week. Definitely looks 100% natural.

Complete scam, don’t believe the positive reviews!
I have dark brown hair. My beard started going gray in my late 30s, and now it is mostly white. I was skeptical that a natural product could be of any use, but there were so many positive reviews here that I had to try it. Short story, don’t waste your time, especially if you have a lot of white in your beard. I gave this a go two times. The last time, just to make doubly sure, I left the base on for 40 minutes, followed by the regular light brown dye for another 40 minutes. In other words, nearly an hour and a half of exposure to the dye. After washing it off, I get nothing but yellow. No brown, no dark hairs. Just light orange and yellow. They claim it takes 24 hours to oxidize. This is nonsense. 24 hours later, absolutely no color change. And mind you, my beard is not very coarse. In fact, it is somewhere in the middle, which is why my first trial was without the base. I have no idea where all of these positive reviews come from, but I can’t imagine that they are even remotely factual. I’m just going to have to get used to living with a white beard and dark hair. Meanwhile, save some money and use either the mainstream dye or just get used to shaving. There clearly are no natural options. One more thing — your face will smell like stale, Indian tea —- for quite a while. If you are OK with smearing grass cuttings on your face and having a clown-orange tint on your beard, this product is for you.

Requires patience, ends up looking natural
I have a short 5mm beard/stubble. It's an odd product that requires time/patience. With my facial hair, which is mostly ash blond with large grey/white patches + red, brown, black, etc. it took 3 uses over 3 days to finally look *decent*. And even then I ended up fading the color with soap/shampoo, because the hair ended up too dark. I now use just the dye once per week. I went in with low expectations, yet ended up liking this beard dye. My suggestions: -If you have blond/grey hair, I recommend experimenting with this for a full week, 3 days may not be long enough. -Morning of: shower without any chemicals in your beard, only use water on your beard. In the evening (because it will look green after your first use, more on that later), use base for 30 min, then dye for 15-25 min. Again, just wash with water between applying the two mixes. I used regular hair conditioner after letting the final dye set, and I only use conditioner now in my beard (no harsh soaps or shampoo). As mentioned, I used the regular dye (plus 30 min base mix each time) a total of 3 times: 15 min, then 30 min over the course of a 3 day weekend, and that turned my beard too dark. I used shampoo + soap over several days and that seemed to slowly fade the color. -Use more powder than you think with less water. Make sure you get the "ketchup" texture. If it's too watery, then it will get everywhere, won't "build up" length on your beard, and won't touch longer hairs that stick out. -The first application was frankly bad-- it turned my ash blond hairs green, and seemed to barely even touch my grey/white patches. The solution (I think) to this, is to make sure you use a lot of dye, and you really brush the mixture in *both* up and down. If you see white hairs sticking out of the dye, that means it's not being dyed (duh!). I also think if you have a long beard, you might benefit from some kind of plastic wrap or whatever they do in salons, so the mix doesn't dry up and so your longer hairs stay in the mixture. -The second attempt was better, but still green. -Third attempt got rid of the green, but ended up too dark. The solution to this may be to reduce the time of dye use (not base) from 30 min to 20 min or less. -Now, I use a ratio of 1/3 base: 1 regular dye for the full 30 minutes once per week. I trim my beard to 5mm once per week just before applying the dye. The dyed hair looks good for the week, likely because my natural hair doesn't clash with the light brown dye I chose. I imagine you'll have to dye more frequently if your natural hair is white and the dye you chose is dark. All in all, the final result doesn't have that "shoe polish" look that other dyes tend to have. The hair look natural with a mix of colors that you can't get with other harsh chemical dyes. It's also affordable long-term considering how much powder you get. Even though it took me 7+ days to get a result I liked, I'd still recommend giving it a shot over a long holiday. Besides, it was a funny experience. 8/10

Product is awesome!
Used this product earlier this evening. Got the light-brown, which was my natural color before going gray. The color came out beautifully. Light-brown with sandy blonde highlights. Like many of other guys I was tired of buying the chemical dyes. It just irritated my skin and honestly it never lasted more than a few days! But what else was out there? Pretty much nothing! After I noticed my beard was starting to loose fullness and thickness I began to research natural beard dyes. Thankfully, I came across Grizzly Mountain Beard Dye. If anyone is on the fence please don’t hesitate to try this product! It really works. I never got the greenish hue that some said they did. I followed the directions and left it on 30 mins. The color was initially pretty light. Almost like a blonde tone. However, checking it this morning, the color has darken into a nice sun kissed, sandy blonde hue. I guess different shades for different folks.. But, the light- brown shade definitely worked on me...Will be using this from now on!! Wish I’d had found it sooner..Oh and it never stained my skin . Thank you Grizzly Mountain Beard Dye..

better than nothing.
i got the light brown. its easy to mix and apply, not any harder than store bought stuff--to which I am severely allergic. i had no allergic reaction to this at all, and I have tried other supposedly allergen-free products which still gave me a reaction. the white patches in my beard went kind of orangey blond, which i guess is better than white. not green at all, in my case. the smell did not really bother me.

All natural and not bad for your skin like the store bought stuff.
This beard die is great. I used to use a store brand but it irritated my skin. The last time I used this store brand I got sores all over my face and a big lump under my chin that I can only speculate was infection. I started using this beard die and it is so much more natural looking. There is a short time after application that your beard may look a bit discolored... not in a bad way really. It's just part of the process of it working. And the end result is awesome and very natural looking... I'm a lifer with this product. Some people don't like the smell. It's an Earthy smell. To me it smells like cooked asparagus and I like me some asparagus...lol. Do yourself a favor and try this product.

Test it first
My skin was blistering when using another hair dye so I decided to go with a all natural hypoallergenic dye. Grizzly Mountain seemed to be the best from the reviews. I used the product once and my beard turned out green, which was not a surprise if you read the instructions. I left it alone for a week and followed the instruction for the green beard results. I unfortunately, used the base and the dye and ended up with a VERY orange beard. Assuming I may not have let it sit for long enough, I waited a day and applied the dye again but just on my cheek. There was no change. Still frightfully orange. Being unable to go to work looking this way, I unfortunately had to shave off my beard and start all over. There are so may factors that influence the way Grizzly Mountain Beard Dye works that I highly suggest testing the product in a less conspicuous area of your beard like under your chin before you go full bore. Hope this helps

Grizzly Mountain: not what you would expect
That this product doesn't deliver at all what it promises. The color your beard achieves after the product is applied is nothing close to what I would have expected, I bought this product because the others hurt my skin. This one, even not as severe, still irritated my skin. What it completely puzzled me is the fact that the instructions enclosed are so unclear and bad, that i have to look for a video of the product. Yet the videos found made by one or two individuals were still unclear.
