Turkey is in trouble. Bad trouble. The kind of trouble where it’s almost Thanksgiving…and you’re the main course. But Turkey has an idea―what if he doesn’t look like a turkey? What if he looks like another animal instead? After many hilarious attempts, Turkey comes up with the perfect disguise to make this Thanksgiving the best ever! Wendi Silvano’s comical story is perfectly matched by Lee Harper’s watercolors. Review: Fun and engaging boom. - This is an adorable book that I read to my students before Thanksgiving. We then did a disguised a turkey activity. They all turned out great. The students enjoyed the book. Review: Great Thanksgiving book - Super cute book with a fun story!

Cute, just the right amount of silly for a little kid
This is a cute and silly little story. If you are reading it to the grandkids, there are lots of opportunities to make funny faces and use funny voices. I think most little guys would love this.

Super cute!
This is probably one of the best turkey stories ever. I read this before I had my students disguise their own turkeys.

A New Thanksgiving Treat!
So I wasn't too thrilled knowing that I would have to buy a book that wasn't but 3 pages long for $2, my niece needed the book for a homework assignment but didn't have a copy, so what was I to do? Tell her no? So I sat on the phone, reading the book to her and her mom and helped with the homework questions (what all did Turkey dress up as for Thanksgiving). I have to admit, it was a cute read and well worth the money spent. Turkey doesn't want to become the farmers dinner for Thanksgiving so goes about dressing up as other farm animals to stay safe and well off the table only to find out that his costumes don't really work out in his favor. Turkey Trouble is a cute little read that is sure to gain fans of any age, and full of charming illustrations that make the story even more comical.

Great comedic relief for Thanksgiving time both adults and children love this
This book is very humorous and my children love it. It also is a very fun. Read as a parent who has to read books multiple times in one day to their children. And the humor is clean and appropriate.

What's a turkey to do
Great story about turkey in disguise so he doesn't get eaten by the farmer and his family for Thanksgiving! So he gets very creative trying out different animal costumes trying to hide and blend in. Nothing really worked out, so in the end he came up with a brilliant alternative to a turkey dinner. Fun and entertaining, this book is good for ages 3 and up. Gobble, gobble!!
