A: They are metal so I don’t see why you couldn’t paint them.

**Q: Can I use 3/4 inch thick shelf?**
A: Yes! I used 3/4” shelf for our laundry room and secured the brackets to studs.

**Q: Can these support marble shelves?**
A: Your question is bad. They support weight, not material. It would support elephant, just not a whole one. They will support marble but you need to be much more specific
