**Q: Is this battery operated or electric?**
A: electric-- but you need a plug first--- USB plug-- you can get them on amazon 2 for $9.99 if you don't have one... OR an iphone charger would work-- ;)

A: Does not plug in.  Uses batteries.  Love these lights!

**Q: Does each of the 3 branches have its own battery to where they could be in 3 separate vases or do all 3 branches run off of one battery?**
A: These are not battery operated they are electric

**Q: Is this Battery or plug in?**
A: These lights have a USB plug in.  Look for an outlet plug in with the 3 prongs that plug into your outlet and then the USB will plug into that.  I found an outlet plug that has 2 USB ports so 2 branches can be plugged into it.  No batteries!
